Stayed in this hotel for one night (for the first time - although I have been to Hat Yai quite a number of times). It have very clean room. All the amenities are in good working condition. The air-conditioning is a powerful 2 horsepower for each room and we get a super king-sized bed. And I get this superior double bedroom at Thai Baht 1230. I got to know from the manager of the hotel that the rates is Thai Baht 700 during non-peak season. The rate I am paying is high because it's during Hari Raya (Muslim's New Year). Anyhow, I still feel worth it. Walking distance to town centre is not far (around 800m or 10-15mins walk to the south). And walking distance the Hat Yai Plaza (or so called the big market - famous for shopping of clothes, shoes, handbags, tidbits, and dried seafood. There are a few shops selling stainless-steel kitchen wares at very low price too). We also took a tuk-tuk ride to the famous floating market from the hotel costing us Thai Baht 30 (one way).

Room tip: The standard double room is cheaper than the superior room by Thai Baht 100. So, better get a superior room as you get more space and a bigger bed. And make sure you request rooms from the new wing. There's another separate building (so called, old-wing) which is having older rooms.
