Revisit the restaurant for the 2nd time on 27 May 2017
Ordered tom yam, pad thai, pineapple fried rice, crab meat stir fried with curry powder and a Chiang Mai local vegetable.
Overall the pineapple fried rice was a bit tasteless and tom yam was light (probably that was their recipe).
Pad Thai, Ching Mai local vegetable and crabmeat dish were good.
Pad Thai was a bit spicy very tasty (spiciness above average pad thai cooked elsewhere in Thailand), which was to my liking. You may ask the waitress to reduce the spiciness if it's not your forte.
Tub Tim Grob (dessert) was average, I guess they might have added some jasmine flavour in it - taste a bit weird

The rain was lashing down. From outside the inside looked warm and enticing. It was well patronised, all looked to be local. They squeezed us in. We have been back twice since. They are not a tourist restaurant, but a good, dependable, local restaurant, perhaps for the more discerning local diner? They always make us welcome, farang or no. It is a family run operation, two smallish dining rooms and a connecting arch with two steps between, and fish in an aquarium. They care about their food. They happily recommend. We have branched out into a number of interesting lesser known dishes on their menu - one that was passing by for another table when we pointed, "let's have that". We have never been disappointed. They like that we enjoy their food. Being free to choose dishes that are not the norm, and have them willingly help us in our choice, in English, knowing it will always taste excellent - is a joy.

I ordered the Thai favorite, green curry with rice and a iced lemon tea, no complaints, the bill total was 215 baht. The restaurant is clean and nicely styled, fast free wifi is available and the menu is in English/Thai.
Located not far from Red Planet hotel, 7.000778, 100.470726

True to the review from previous customers. After reading high recommendations, decided to try this restaurant.
Not crowded as it's only Thursday, majority were local Thai family and few Malaysians.
As I'm travelling solo, only able to sample 2 dishes- pad Thai and chicken curry (recommended by the waitress)
I'm typically picky when it comes to Pad Thai and curry. After tasting it, I could not find any reason to give anything less than 5 stars.
Pad Thai was really tasty - mixture of crunchy, well balanced flavours and perfect rice noodles.
Chicken curry was a very good choice too. Rich in coconut milk, well cooked chicken and spices and cashew nuts.
