After a roundtrip through Thailand we stayed a couple of days in the Amari Hua Hin.
We had a wonderful time in this modern and luxury hotel.
The hotel has several pools near the hotel itself, but also at the beach. You can reach this pool in about 5-10 minutes walking or by free golfcar. Both pools are really beautiful.
Also the beach is very nice and warm, but be aware of the jellyfish !!!
The rooms are well-decorated with a nice spacious balcony.
The breakfast is more than great with lots of choice.

On arrival met with a smile and check in very smooth. With no prompting was upgraded to pool view room and one complimentary dinner for two.
Room clean and had all amenities expected.
Hotel very quiet and some days only 5 or 6 sunbeds occupied.
Breakfast had a good selection,my only criticism was the cheese board had the same 3 cheeses 10 out of 12 days.
Also a personal preference...Happy Hour was 2pm-4pm,a bit early most hotels are 4-6pm which I like. The good thing is you can have 2 different drinks half price which is good
Staff were very friendly and always seemed happy. They always had time for a chat. The location was a bit out of town but with the 20 baht bus running every 10 minutes or so this was not a problem.
I don't know why people moan that it is not directly on the beach.Nowhere do they say it is.
Finally,on our last day we had to check out at 4.00am.We were given a hot coffee and a breakfast bag with pastries ,yoghurt and a drink. Very thoughtful.
I would definately stay here if I came to Hua Hin again.

We expect firstly that the hotel is nearby the beach which is not.
And we check in for the family suite which is again mountain view, not sea view. Actually our room is nearby Kao Ta Kieb road.
That's not much impressive then for our family.

Website has ocean suites and pool
View suites . I booked an ocean suite foolishly expecting a sea view and to be woken by crashing waves. The hotel is 500 yards from the sea and my suite which was very nice had ocean glimpses and was identical to the pool suite ... we really expected a beachside location! The hotel is quite nice and the gym was good . Breakfast was awful. Sweet bread cheap jams no tomato or mushroom awful cold cuts, bacon cooked to a crisp sickly sweet juices and poor coffee . I could go on but it had little to redeem it . Bus service to town was handy.

Stayed for 12 nights, in a pool view room.
Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Amazing breakfast.Staff friendly and helpful.
Large pool and smaller one at beach front. Both clean with good quality furniture around.
Location was ok. Weekend night markets 5 minute walk.Public taxi ride to 2 lovely shopping complexes and into main part of town.
Not many restaurants but a few family marts near by

As it was off season, very quiet except for weekends when young families came.
Nothing like Bali or phuket
Was such a peaceful holiday
