“The Good, the Bad & the Ugly !!”

Stayed with friends for 16 nights @ the Condo Apartments within the Amari Resort Hua Hin that we booked directly with the owners, Sarapi & Bjorn who met us on arrival, with the latter giving us a quick rundown on the apartment itself. This was our first occasion during 30 odd years traveling for us to take the opportunity to book accommodation of this type within a resort itself & needless to say the the apartment & the experience of sharing together was GOOD, in fact VERY GOOD !! The Condo was beautifully decorated & a credit to the owners with just about everything at our disposal, so all in all it was a pleasure to reside in the most comfortable surroundings.
Now for both the "Bad & the Ugly", the "BAD" was trying to communicate with the Amari Resort Staff on numerous occasions, now whether this was because we were staying in the so called "Residence Complex" and not the Hotel itself appeared to have a bearing on the attitude of ALL we had dealings whether it be Management or Pool Staff & we're not talking about language barriers, just hostile gestures & couldn't care less demeanor shown by them. The "UGLY" relates to the procurement of pool towels, which turned out to be a daily nightmare if NOT a hotel guest, it would take far too long to provide details of the "do's & don'ts experienced during such times, so all we'll say is one word, "BEWARE", when procuring towels if a "Condo Resident".
All in all, condo was perfect, hotel not so.

Thank you for the review. We are very happy to see that you all were pleased with the condo and our service. We always do our utmost to try to make sure that our guests are satisfied with their stay.
On the other hand we are sorry about the problems you had with the staff at the Amari resort. As none of our other 20-30 groups of guests which have stayed in the apartment during 2015 have had any problem with them we choose to believe that language barriers must be the main reason. This has also been confirmed to us by the reception staff. Regarding the procurement of towels the rules are simple: At the resort pools and the beach club return the towels you borrow before you leave the area. At the Residence pools, which are not open for the guests at the Resort, bring the bath towels from the apartment. We have added a detailed page in the info-book in the apartment about this.
