Seaview Patong has just that, a seaview from all rooms. Situated at the end of the beach, about a 5 minute walk from the hussle and bussle, just far enough to be away from the noise but close enough to walk there and back. Excellent service from the staff who were always friendly and happy to help. The best part was the cocktails at the pool!!

Room Tip: all rooms have a view of the pool and a view of the ocean, beautifull

When we arrived we were greeted and given a nice cold drink and towel straight away. The check in was very fast. The location for this hotel is very good as it is situated at the furthest end of the beach Southern end. It is a good location if you had to evacuate for a tsunami. A short walk out the hotel and up the hill and you would be safe. It is also just a short walk if you want to walk to the main area of Patong. This hotel is an excellent choice if you would like a good nights sleep. The hotel did serve food but we ate out every night, as there were so many other cheaper options just a short walk away. Check out was also very good and special thanks to Mr Charlito at the reception who kindly let me in the gym and helped us with a taxi.

Gym: The gym was small but had a rower, a bike, treadmill, some free weights and a small mulit gym. The multi gym ran off two sets of weights so could only really be used by 2 people at the most. There were also some scales. The nice thing about this gym is that if you asked at reception they would open it for you early. This was great for me as it meant that I could train first thing. The reception staff excellent good and would also provide a bottle of water and a cold towel for you to use.

Breakfast: The selection was excellent; they had all the normal cooked breakfast items and also some Thai choices. There was also a cooking station for fresh omelettes. They had a good selection of breads and fresh made cakes and pastries. If you wanted you could watch these being made through a large glass window at their on site bakery. They also had a salad bar with cold meats and cheeses and a fresh fruit bar. The nice thing about this place is that they are always topping up the dishes so you know what you are eating is fresh and has not been stood around for an hour or so.

Room: On our booking we requested a seaview room and that is what we got. Our room was on the fourth floor 423 at the end of the corridor. The bed was firm and the aircon was quiet. The room was a bit dated but comfortable and we had a small balcony. It could have done with a couple more coat hangers and some draw space. The shower was fine, the water was always hot and the pressure was very good. The toiletries were adequate and the towels were changed daily. There is a small water boiler in the room to make tea and coffee and we were given 4 small bottles of water each day. There was also a selection for the mini bar but the prices were very expensive for Thailand, nearly every one there was buying drinks from the nearest 7 11 shop just a short walk away. They also provided a very handy beach bag with beach towels to use for your stay. A real negative is that the door to the room was not a good fit, we had a 1 inch gap which meant that mosquitoes could get in. One night we were also woken up by some people talking and drinking in the corridor. If the door had fitted this might not have been the case.

Pools: The two pools were very clean , we chose to spend most of our time next to the circular one as the other one tended to have more children.

This hotel I believe is a three star and I believe was worth the price we paid. I would go back there again and I would recommend it to my friends. They do have some rooms, which have been updated however I think these are all on the ground floor. Pains me to say this as I do like a quiet holiday, but this is a very good hotel if you have children. Safe and far enough away from the sleaze. The beach is also just across the road.

Room Tip: Seaview on a higher floor, the mosquitoes are savage here and the lower floor have a lot of plants t...

This was our 15th stay and we have always been well looked after, nothing is too much trouble for the hotel staff, the rooms are clean, the position is great, the hotel has a lot to offer.
When we arrive we are greeted by the staff as if they saw us just the other day. We have found that there isn't a big staff turnover which shows that they are happy.
We have recommended the hotel to our friends and family who have also been extremelyhappy with the accommodation. We always meet people we know from back home which also makes our stay very pleasant as we travel alone but feel that we are at home when staying here.
Whilst we have come this time in May we were here in April 2011 & September 2010, I can go on and on each year at different times that we have been here.
We have been looked after by Ms.Wanida and her and front desk staff, the restaurant staff are always willing to serve, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Miss May always greets us with a smile, she is friendly.Wichean greets us at breakfast and always has a kind and frienly word for everybody he plays with the children and gets them to eat.
The staff are always neat and tidy, well groomed.
In 2010 friends from SA travelled with us and we met our friends from Australia who joined us on our recommendation. Last year in September 2011 I recommended my cousin and her family from Italy to stay here and they were very happy.
Next month a friend of ours will be coming to stay and last month another friend of ours was here, need I say more,

This hotel is situated in a beatutiful sea side location that exposes one to the sirenity and beauty of Puton lagoon. The staff are wonderful people, extremely polite and culturally sensitive. The facilities at the hotel are great and the hospitality is refreshing.
The receptionist, Cherry, was extremely helpful and could communicate qite well in English. She is a good ambassidor for this hotel.

Room Tip: nice to take one of the upper floor rooms with a clear sea view.
