My experience with Aussie Divers was great!
The owner, Darren GasPari, was hands-on personal and informative from my first email inquiry through pist-visit follow-up. All the staff were terrific, efficient, friendly.
Dive Master Mike was fantastic in every way. He's customer focused, knowledgeable, friendly, and above-all safe. He really made the experience special, fun, and memorable. I'm not used to diving with the large numbers of divers we experienced at Phi Phi, and Mike was somehow able to keep our small group together despite the crowds and low viz and provide a tailored experience. I cannot say enough good about him.
I really appreciate Darren telling me about the Aussie Divers lodging, too. It was a very practical, if basic, solution for two nights, and it gave me a taste of local culture and extra time on either side of each day not spent in transportation to/from resort properties elsewhere in Phuket.
Can't wait to return!

Met Simon at the dive shop and he explained all well and clear. Followed up the next week to make the arrangements and the kids have been signed up for the junior open water certificate.
The first the day for theory and pool dive they had Alix as instructor which they enjoyed to get comfortable and understanding the gear.
The next two days have been cancelled due to bad weather. The following two days and dives have been with Lara as instructor who took the time to get them comfortable on the boat, for the brief and underwater.
Both loved their first underwater experience and are excited to go soon again.

I booked my OWD course with Aussie Divers from Singapore and the owners were very responsive and helpful through email exchanges.
Inclement weather caused the scheduled dive on the second day to be postponed but the shop took all the effort to ensure we were booked on the best boat to continue on our course during the third and fourth day.
Shoutout to Ash who was assigned as my instructor! I have nothing but praises for this awesome guy. Strict with the skills but always patient throughout the entire 3 days. Most importantly he was great fun! A bonus is the wonderful pictures that he took over the entire course.
Would strongly recommend anyone that wants to pick up diving to contact him.

It is awesome to hear that the office staff were responsive and helpful with the emails prior to arrival from Singapore and that although our Instructor Ashish was strict with the skills you still had great fun over the 3 days. We are also pleased to know that although the weather did not help we could reschedule and you to your certification whilst also leaving with some wonderful photographic memories. We went diving with Aussie to a few islands south of Phuket. For my 2 teenagers it was their first time on a discovery dive, but the extremely experienced instructor Martin made all of us feel completely at ease, from the moment we set foot on the dive boat, checking and preparing the material, doing some of the usual checks and drills in shallow waters, before setting off to discover nearby reefs, fish etc, pointing out turtles, murenes... The kids had a great time, and I could relax knowing they were in safe hands. The reefs themselves are in decent quality despite some inevitable bleaching, and luckily the local people also seem to increasingly care about this fragile ecosystem.
My wife who snorkled also saw lots of fish near the surface, making also non divers happy. Who knows, we might be back to all get Padi licenses, and I can keep Martin to his word of being able to convert her into a diver. If anyone has the required patience and skills, it will be him and Aussie divers. Thanks again for a great day!
Hi Alex. Thanks for taking the time to review you and your families recent day trip to Racha Islands. It is fantastic to hear that as it was your teenagers first time diving from the moment you got on the dive boat you all felt completely safe and at ease diving with our patient Instructor Martin and that you yourself could relax whilst diving with the various reef fish and turtles we on the local reefs. We are also pleased to know that your Wife enjoyed the day as a non-diver and she also saw a lot of marine life near the surface.
