Let me start my review with the owner of the property Roberto, a wonderful man who made me feel so welcome as soon as i arrived, nothing was too much trouble for him and i thank him for that! Roberto lives in the same building and was happy to be contacted for anything we needed at any time.
The apartment... well, what can i say, it is in a perfect location, just minutes from the beach. The place is located in a small quiet area, there is a small supermarket in the building as well as a restaurant too, i had the windows open by day and night and no noise at all!! (there are mosquito netting on windows) as well as air conditioning, but we didn't need it as the place stays very cool. The Jacuzzi was an added bonus and a welcome after a day at the beach. There are cooking facilities as well as plates and crockery too.
I found this a much better alternative to staying in a hotel, it is quiet, safe, great host and i even stayed an extra night!
I will say one thing... a previous comment mentioned electricity being extra... i never experienced this. Would and will stay again the next time i am in town. (Worth noting, if you are travelling in a large group the owner has other properties on the same floor as this)

The apartment was clean and well priced as we were travelling on a budget. The location was great and the people fantastic.
The downside to the apartment was that we were charged for the electricity and it was quite expensive. It cost about the same as one weeks rent and this hurt my budget. I would not have stayed here if we had known that as we could have stayed elsewhere for less money.
Just think we should have known about the electricity charges in the details before we booked.
