The villa was just perfect for our needs. Having stayed at other villas in Kalcan, Swallows Rest offered particularly spacious bedrooms and ensuites. The view from the balconies was absolutely beautiful. The villa is about a 20-30 minute walk (depending on your speed!) down to Kalcan town. The super efficient taxi service costs about £6.
The restaurants in the town offer excellent value and delicious food. Trio, Aubergine and Moussakka were our favourites.
We took an all day boat trip which you can book at the harbour. We paid about 35 Turkish Lira and this included a freshly cooked lunch and stops for swimming in the clear blue sea. We had a fantastic week and will book with Karen and Derek again.
