They do warn you some of the dishes take 50 minutes. But you are greeted right away with some warmth, you are seated right away in this very down to earth place.
The cook is manning the charcoal in the windowfacing the dining area.
The service is efficient, the food comes quickly and it is really good. Their pizza dough is really good. As good as all but the very finest pizza i have had.
The lamacun, called turkish pizza by most, is not a big meal but it is a perfect snack for a light lunch.
We also tasted the egg, ham and cheese pizza bread kind of pizza was very good as well.
A light turkish pizza, the egg, ham and cheese pizza, a bottle of water and a beer as well as a complimetary lettuce and tomato pizza came to 35 turkich lira. Yes, that’s less than 10US$.
Complaints anyone? I have none. We will go again during our stay.
It is a little bit away from the main tourist area but a 10 min walk max from Attaturk boulevard. Not a deal breaker...
