A very unassuming restaurant but turned out to be one of the best meal we had while in Goreme! Try their soup of the day and order the traditional pottery kebab; it will not disappoint you...

One of the best lunch options in cappadocia! Very good food, excellent atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. Simply amazing!

Regardless of whhere we were recommended to to eat, we decided to have out second dinner in Inci Cave for it has grabbed our attention as we were walking to our hotel. As we stepped in, the owner, Mustafa, arranged us a table when all the others were full. Having a smaller yet delicious menu, we were happy to find out that they had some vegetarian options. We started out with a home-made soup that his mother made, and continued with a meze plate. We were offered a complementary tea at the end, but passed as we were planning to have a coffee down in the square. What makes this place great is that what followed after.

As we had pretty poor coffee down at the square, we headed for the hotel room and as we were passing by Inci, we heard waiter shouting "we have freshly brewed tea, would you like to have some?". The single act of kindness drew us in and what started out with a glass of tea ended in 4 glasses of teas and an hour and a half of conversation around topics you could have with your friends. That's why we ate dinner on our last day there, too. I wasn't surprised to see similar faces on both nights. Great food you can find in various places, but great service and warmth is not easy to find.

For that, I am glad to step in there the first time to meet a great person who welcomes you with warmth and delicious food.

Thanks Mustafa!:)

We had our best dinners here! This is a family owned restaurant where you feel the love all around the food, people and the place.
They have amazing appetizer platters as well as regional main courses. In order not to miss the 'local food as it should be', make sure to check into this place during your visit and have a selfie with the owner Mustafa : )
