Block B rooms did not look like the pictures at all. They were small, dark, old fashioned, no lamps, no bin for general waste, no safe or fridge and the balcony was small. You would not fit a chair and table. Don't know what they do out of season months cause its not giving the rooms a clean that's for sure.

Had problems with the door as well so double check that they are locked and also check the balcony door as the cleaner never locked our balcony door ever.

The food was very repetitive which resulted in us eating out more often than not. The food times were very spaced out which resulted in us getting nibbly before dinner.

The pool was very deep 1.50 metres. The kids pool is miniature (hardly worth calling it a pool).

Only British there (stayed 2 weeks)

We booked this hotel in august 2016 and wrote an email to specify that we wanted 2 rooms next to each other so we could see each others balconies.

We arrived at the hotel at around 1am on the Wednesday and got put in B block. The rooms were small, dark, dated, loud (because it faced the main road), no lamps, no rubbish bin apart from the one in the bathroom for toilet roll etc, no fridge, no safe and the balconies could not fit a (1) chair comfortably. It did have a tv, desk, chair, bath.

So we went down and complained straight away as we had booked this so far in advance. We got moved the Thursday afternoon to the main building. The rooms were brighter and a little bit bigger. They had a safe, a fridge (but would only work when in the room as it was plugged in therefore needed electricity). The bathroom floor flooded whenever the shower was on. Also the air-conditioning machine outside was dripping so the balcony flooded as well but managed to put the hose into a bottle which needed to be daily.

The rooms are in need of a serious clean and update.

The cleaners did not speak very good english. The bathroom bin got emptied daily. The beds never got cleaned daily and had to ask for towels multiple times before getting them even though there is a sign saying if you want them changed leave them in the bathtub.

STAFF- All staff was very nice and friendly. Many only knew turkish.

FOOD- I would say I am not a fussy eater and I seriously struggled.

Breakfast was between 7 and 8 until 10 and consisted of salad, sponge cake, boiled egg, (hot dog like )sausages, bread (they would have the toaster covered with a sheet unless the big boss was in). The jam was very wattery.

Lunch was 12-2 and consisted of the same salad, chips, pasta, passata, bulgur wheat, soup.

Dinner was 7.30 and had salad, chips, pasta and soup was available daily
Saturdays was barbequed chicken which was lovely the rest of the time it was stuffed peppers or chicken on the bone, kebab style things, fish.

It is a very long wait between lunch and dinner therefore it would be better if snacks were provided.

PEOPLE- We are British and we never saw anyone else who was British. An extreme amount of Russians and Ukrainians and a little Turkish. Some were quite rude and did get rowdy sometimes.

POOL- I am 5 foot 4 and had to be on my tiptoes in the shallowest part of the main pool. 1.40 metres-1.50 metres. The pool that you landed in from the slides were deeper. The pool for babies was maybe 1 x 1 metre (absolutely tiny!!).

SLIDES- Straight up and down one (red), yellow one there is not enough water flow therefore you stop.

BAR- All inclusive between 10.30 and 10pm

Room tip: Reis Maris Restaurant just left of the hotel, great quality and price (fresh). Free wifi and pool table and pool.

We arrived at this hotel at 1am Friday 27th July only to be told our rooms were not ready and was put up in a hotel across the road and told to return at 10 am. I went back at 10 am only to be told our rooms still not ready and to come back at 11.30. The kids and I had already missed breakfast as we was all inclusive. We later discovered we hadn't missed much.
We finally got the keys to our rooms and decided to try out the slides in the pool before having lunch. If you have booked this hotel due to the water slides you will be dissapointed they are only working for a total of one hour a day between 11 and 11.30 then in the afternoon at 3 till 3.30. There are two slides one of which the children were getting stuck halfway round.
Over the duration of the two weeks the food on offer was terrible. Breakfast was salad, soup and hot dog sausages chopped up in tomatoe sauce. Lunch was salad, chips, cold spaghetti and cold pessatto sauce. And the evening meal was salad yet again unrecognisable meat stew, slop and cold spaghetti again. All the kids could eat was the dry bread. Food is definatly geared towards the Russian guests of which there are alot. The hotel is full of Russians I think there was only one other British family staying there. Now I have stayed in many hotels with other nationalities and have found them to be very friendly and always have found someone to talk with but not with the Russians. They have no manners are rude and even argue amongst themselves needless to say the hotel had no atmosphere and was not a family friendly place to be. We spent hardly any time at the hotel and had to eat out everyday if you are going to this hotel please don't go all inclusive you'll be eating out more than eating the food on offer. Every hotel I have stayed in in Turkey will have some sort of entertainment on in the evenings even if it's just the workers dancing and getting other people up but not this place. We had to go out every night to keep the kids entertained. The hotel itself was ok rooms were basic but air conditioning was free. The staff behind the bar really appreciated us being polite to them don't think they had heard many thankyous. The man behind reception was very helpful and even works as a dj on the night at the moonlight bar. If you're Russian you will probably love the place but if you're British please steer clear of this hotel there are much better places.
Thanks to the guys at the moonlight and amore bar for keeping us entertained and the children dancing.
This has not put me off marmaris as I come here year after year but I definately won't be stopping in this hotel again it was a complete waste of money.

We arrived at the hotel late at night we was a group of 7. Our rooms were cleaned aily yes a little dated but that wasnt an issue we were only in them for around 7 hours a day and that was mostly to sleep, they were cleaned daily and the beds changed and fresh towel given. It is a mixed culture hotel but we found all to be pleasant and never had any issues. The food was ok and we could find things to eat most days but on some days like anywhere else in a foreighn country was not always to my taste. there was always plenty and they never ran out during the meal times. All Inclusive at the bar was fine and we had good servings. the staff were very pleasant and helpful with us and accommodated us when ever they could. overall we had a very enjoyable holiday and made some new friends both turkish and russian. Would i go back here YES i would as was made to feel welcome from day one by all staff including the management.
