We stayed as a group and placed request with our holiday company to no a avail. We were greeted next am by a surly customer service manager who reluctantly changed our room to accommodate a client with.mobility issues and couldnt sleep in a camp bed.
The food was plentiful hot and well presented.
The spa was a welcome luxury and a bargain price see omer he is a gem, honest and welcoming.
The hairsalon is magnificent they are efficient and very well trained in all hair types and procedures at bargain prices.

Animation repetitive however they aim to please need to be aware content of adult nature before 9.00.

Overall well refurbished hotel and if managers take.on board the views of the customers it will become a 1st class facility.

I will definately visit again oh big up demi thomas cook rep she always has time to chat.

We stayed at Blue Bay Platinum between 14/5/12-28/5/12 and are about to book again twice for next year. It wasa massive change from last year as it had just been renovated. Big improvement to the food, staff, cleanliness. We had out towels changed every day and if we didn't want the cleaning ladies in because we were napping we ran out when we heard them vacuuming and they were happy to provide anything we needed. We had a Turkish bath in the spa. It's a bit pricier than if you take a trip but it was lovely, apart from having a bit too much of a scrub which left me with a really sore chest that i couldn't touch for a couple of days! The location is just a minute from the beach and a few minutes walk to all of the nightlife like VIP and Tropicana. But it wasn't too close that you could hear all of the noise. Overall and excellent holiday apart from my skin being scrubbed clean off (they did give me some posh cream to put on it tho) Only other thing I would say is that they could give us an extra piloow and a duvet because it did get cold at times.

We arrived very early hours of 3rd June, very welcoming hotel when you first arrive, extremely modern looking and easy check-in. Room was little on the small side for my family of 4, but the walk-in shower was to die for! Cleaning in the room was a little bit disappointing, maid literally changed bed sheets and that was it, sink had tooth paste in it all week and I won't start to mention state of toilet! Hotel is very small and when we left yesterday it was starting to get very busy, this results in a shortage of sun loungers around the pool which = numb bumb syndrome on the wooden chairs. Also results in a long wait for food in the restaurant. Breakfast was poor and I struggled to find much to eat, take my advice and go across the road from hotel and try a meal in the Sail restaurant, lovely food and staff are fantastic, especially with the kids and also on 5 lira for a "proper" full English breakfast. In the hotel restaurant in evening it is chicken all the way, but in fairness there is usually something you can find to fill you up. Beer in hotel is very nice, but spirits may be watered down, but in that heat makes sense not to go mad anyway. Location of hotel is fantastic with shops, bars and restaraunts all on your doorstep. Evening entertainment is average at best, but the staff work hard to try and put on a good show. One word of advice, don't go head first down the blue water slide on a rubber ring, I attempted this and nearly paralysed myself by hitting my head on the floor. Kids club at hotel is excellent and the two girls who run it (Danielle & Kate) are wonderful with the kids (Paige, Connor and Courtney missing them already!). All in all not bad value for money, just small and gets a little boring after a few days, but then I have been spoilt by larger hotels in turkey in previous years.
