This restaurant is part of a hotel and attached to a winery. It serves mostly Italian cuisine (lots of pasta) which was mostly very tasty. Service was friendly if a bit slow.

We had lunch at this restaurant. We sat outside in the garden. The food was delicious and we especially enjoyed the gazpacho and the cheese course. The wine was reasonably priced. My wife loved her dulce de leche souffle with banana ice cream. I recommend this highly. It is not cheap, but it is excellent.

We recently stayed at the Finca Narbona and ate at the restaurant in the evenings. The chef, Christian, was charming and our meals were delicious. The steaks were cooked perfectly to our specification and the pasta and salmon to be highly recommended. Thank you Christian!

We stayed 2 nights at the wine lodge and didn't move from the property so ate all meals at Narbona. The restaurant is in one of the oldest parts of the winery and has a wonderfully rustic feel with exposed brick-work, café-lace curtains and shelves full of Narbona produce from silky olive oil and Basalmic vinegar to preserves of all varieties - some of which are served with the cheese course.

The menu remains the same for lunch and dinner and so we managed to cover off most of the plates on this small, but seasonal menu. Favourites included the home made pasta and steak cooked to perfection.

A young Argentinian waiter left the day after we arrived (end of his summer working season), which was a pity because his English was perfect (and our Spanish not too hot). New wait staff were possibly daunted by a large group of noisy English house guests, but the Head Chef was always close by and would come and catch up with us at the table to be sure our orders were delivered perfectly. For his 21 years he is an accomplished Chef - we would have liked it if there was a daily special on the menu to add a bit more variety without the need to make the menu choices any more extensive.

Equally attentive was the house manager, Manuela, who's happy smile and boundless energy was always appreciated.

A lot of the food is either produced in the kitchen and on the winery, or sourced locally such as delicious natural yoghurt for breakfast, pasta made in the pastry kitchen and the most enormous fridge of locally made cheeses.

With a strong exchange rate and a Government initiative to refund the tax, this was a very cost effective visit for us.
