The most beautiful rooms we ever have lived in. So artistic and creative. The breakfast was great and the owner very friendly and helpful. We can really recommend this B&B. If we ever came back we will absolutely stay there again.

Our recent stay at Colonia Suite was magnificent. It would be impossible to choose a favorite aspect, but among them would certainly include: the charming and careful arrangement of the common areas, the kind owner Fred - a Renaissance man of sorts - who features his beautiful paintings on walks throughout the posada, the delicious, wholesome food and the open kitchen in which its made, the peacefulness of the back garden, an oasis that gathers perfect filtered light and song birds, and the exquisite old world detail given to each of the suites themselves. This is a place where one composes a novel, or decides to stay longer than planned, or receives renewed inspiration for the arts of life - gardening, writing, cooking. It would be worth a separate visit to Colonia del Sacramento simply to stay in this beautiful hotel.

Fred, thank you for the hospitality. We hope to return one day soon!

We stayed one night but definitely wish we would have stayed longer. We stayed in the room in the courtyard in the back and it was everything we could have asked for. Great location. Great breakfast. And I can't say thank you enough to Fred for his hospitality.

We were in need of a notary (very long story) and Fred went way out of his way to find us someone. But beyond that he was a gracious host who clearly cares about each of his guests.

Stopped by for a quick bite while touring the city. The restaurant is small but has a unique charm. Very accommodating owner.
Would definitely consider staying here over a future visit.

B&B has only four rooms and the restaurant is open for only breakfast and lunch.
