Well what an experience, the only good thing about this hostel is its location! I didn't enjoy my stay here at all. No linen until 11pm at night and when asked enormous times about it, it seemed they were upset/angry at us for asking, It didn't help that my partner was sick and needed rest! Our room looked and felt dirty as well as bathrooms. Overall we were happy to leave early the next day! We don't expect things to be brilliant but a few upgrades are definitely needed!

Location ok for Main Street & bus station. On a side street so not so noisy.

Hostel pretty empty and not a lot of food left at breakfast, but I was there right towards the end time.

One guy who worked at the hostel spoke English, a lot of signs in Spanish only so I'm not sure if they get a lot of English speaking travellers.

The bathrooms weren't the greatest. No towels included.

Thought the price was high for a room with only a fan and shared bathroom.

this hostel has more than enough space, the kitchen is very good equipped (there is more than enough of everything) and big and there are enough bathrooms. the rooms are big and through the big window enters a lot of the warm sunlight. the yard with the banana plant is cute and on the terrace there is a bar and plenty of space for hanging around.
it's also a very clean place since the cleaning lady cleans every day. no doubt that the staff is the best thing in this hostel, they're all very helpful, sympathic and fun people!
the location is very good, one block away there's a club (thursday-saturday) and three blocks away there's a handcrafted market and a little beach for hanging out.
really recommendable!

Thank you Sergio, Gabriel, and Manu for making me feel at home, I know that is cliche, but you guys nailed it! Sergio cooked up an asado in the wood fireplace that really set the mood, re uruguayo! I didn't want to leave and will be back in a week! Don't forget to walk down a block to the river to see the sunset, one of the best places to do it at. See you soon!

This hostel is ok. The dorms are plain and the beds could do with an update.
The showers were irratic but warm overall.
The kitchen is large and well equipped.
The communal lounge is ok but the TV is always on so it makes socialising hard. There looked like a nice outside area but we went in winter so obviously not appealing.
Overall the hostel needs some love and attention.
