Reception staff always on bad temper. You need to be very specific at the moment of your reservation. Ask for no-smoke, no-carpet, new-building room. If you didn't do that, they will put you in a room you can barely breathe.

Room tip: Ask for no-smoke, no-carpet, new-building room.

This hotel was very good in many ways, bright, clean and well taken care. Breakfast was good, but not outstanding. The biggest issue was our room was supposedly a superior room, but was tiny with the bed taking up most of the space. There is plenty of storage space, drawers, desk space, and the bathroom is quite big. Not much they can do about it now, but they should have designed a smaller bathroom, using only a shower (which needs to be bigger) and no bath. Also, make more efficient use of the storage space to free up floor space in the room. Finally, something they can do is to add more hooks in bathroom for hanging clothes while dressing, and a shelf space in tiny shower for your shampoo or gel bottles

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, more than enough to know the little but charming city. We stayed in the modern part of the hotel, the room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, with a nice view from the window and a big tv (-great for the rainy nights we had).
The staff was SUPER kind. Both pools are amazing. The location is great.
We really enjoyed our stay.

Room tip: We stayed in the modern part and it was great.

it´s very good option for a stay in colonia del sacramento...
it´s located three blocks from the Buquebus Terminal, five blocks from the Old Town and two blocks from the main street of Colonia, av. General Flores...
rooms are comfortable, well designed... bathrooms are almost the same size than the room itself!!! wifi is for free, air conditioning in all rooms... incredibly, the pools, indoor and outdoor are nicer than they look in the photos...no garage, but you can park on the curbside... no problem... the hotel is undergoing refurbishment on some areas, but no problem for the guests at all... they´re almost done with... rooms look either to the street, to pool or gardens...
The cafeteria is comfortable, breakfast buffet is very good, has wide windows overlooking the pool... The beds, linen and pillows are good and were impeccably clean. You are given bath towels and an extra towel for the pools. You can also rent a bathrobe for u$s. We had an adequate lunch at the hotel and a great buffet breakfast...The staff is very friendly and helpful...they make you feel very good...

Room tip: all rooms are good... some of them have their door facing the lobby or windows facing the pool, they could be a bit noisy at certain hours... hotel has new elevators, but you´ll find short stairwells when you wander through the hotel... other than that, no problems at all...
