Its a fine mid budget option in aqaba. Local dive center with small resort. Very nice staff, pool, rooms (great AC) fantastic divemasters. We really liked our stay. Food was ok, Wi-Fi fast mainly for diving

We spent last weekend at Arab Divers as it was a long weekend in Jordan. We stayed with a family of six, but also with about twenty friends (some of whom were adults, some with families like us). The accommodation is basic but very comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the bunk beds in the six berth room and the water in the shower was always hot too. At night it was very quiet, which was great considering our room was adjacent to the reception area. There was a lovely garden area just outside our room where we sat a few times and soaked up the sun.
We ate at Arab Divers most of the time. The breakfast was typical Arab fare - boiled egg, flat bread, various dips and spreads and some fruit and veg. There were hot drinks and in all it was a more than adequate start to the day. Lunch and dinner could be ordered off a reasonably substantial menu. The food was generous in its portions and also very tasty. There was a range of drinks that could be ordered, but we had also brought some cold beers and wine with us, which the management had no issue with us drinking on site (thanks!).
The pool area was delightful and our kids played endlessly in and around this area. One of the pools is quite deep (3m) as it is used from diving courses, but so long as your kids are aware of this (and adults are vigilant) things are OK. It is a reasonable walk down to the beach (especially on the uphill home leg!?!), so the pool was great. We did head down to the beach, but drove down.
Arab Divers (funnily enough) also has an excellent dive shop attached. The guys running this side of the business were extremely professional, diligent and attentive to the needs of all the people who we dived with over the two days. The briefings were thorough and the attention to divers under the water was excellent. The equipment is clearly well cared for and maintained and once the group is sorted, diving is really only about 10-15 minutes down the road and a short walk into the water off the beach, which was really cool. Personally, I had not dived for five years and after a refresher dive I felt right at ease with the level of care and knowledge on display.
In all, our short stay in Aqaba was excellent largely because of the fantastic people and facilities at Arab Divers. Hopefully you will feel the same way when you stay there!

We stayed in Arab Divers for 6 nights during the first week of May 2017.

The staff: Amazing staff who made us feel so at home. Corina was so helpful and kind, from the pre-booking communication all the way through our stay. Paul and Obadh were great diving instructors, I felt very safe with them. Noeleen was really nice, super helpful with our equipment and million requests ;) All the guys working in the restaurant were so polite. You can see that everyone here works very hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

The rooms: modern, spacious and super clean with a good bed :). We also had wifi in the room.

The Food: The breakfast is basic but we didn't mind too much (happy with the fresh bread and jam :)). The lunch and dinner menu is great, big portions and really tasty. They have cold drinks and water available all day, but I recommend stocking up on small snacks, juices etc and you can keep things cool in the fridge in your room.

The location: its a 10 min or so drive from Aqaba, and so peaceful! We didn't have a car, but we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food so much in Arab Divers (and we were so tired after diving) that we only went in to the centre once for dinner (it costs around 6 dinar one way with a taxi).

The diving: Everything was perfect. We took a refresher since we hadn't dived for a year and glad we paid the small extra fee. We did both shore dives and a day boat diving and loved both (highly recommend diving from the boat if you're planning to go diving on a friday as the beaches get busy). On the first day as we had forgotten a bit how to set up our equipment our instructor asked us to do as much as we could ourselves but was very helpful if we needed him. Personally I prefer setting up and washing my equipment myself, and this is the way it's done here - so if you're expecting a place where they do everything for you then you may get a surprise!

All in all this is one of the best places i've stayed in terms of value for money and hospitality. I would stay here and dive here again without hesitation, we're just waiting for the direct flights again! Thanks to everyone for making our holiday perfect :)

The room and private bathroom were comfortable and really clean. The pool area was really great for relaxing and meeting other guests staying there too. The diving courses they offer are brilliant and I enjoyed having my first ever diving experience with these guys (even got some photos to document the moment). Staff are really friendly and willing to help as much as they can.

Only negative was that the food at the restaurant was quite poor and didn't live up to how great the rest of the hotel is.

Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were all very helpful, offering advice on diving and our onward journey. The restaurant was good for lunch. I had a tasty fish dish one day. My only criticism was that there was no dessert menu and we waited a long time for the food, even though it was never that busy. We got a taxi into Aqaba for dinner (12 JD there and back).
It was a pity the hotel pools were so cold but we enjoyed relaxing on the peaceful sun loungers! Our main reason for staying here was the diving and it didn't disappoint. I only did one small dive, as a beginner but my boyfriend did 4 dives and thoroughly enjoyed it.
