Nothing special in here. I stayed in the hotel. Outside space is seldom used except for a ridiculously expensive beer garden event.

the style of this hotel is traditional and classic. their staff were very helpful that they helped us to locate the restaurant and call a taxi to there. there is a public bath for you to relax. it is not a hotel only but also a place for workshop, exhibition and performance. really enjoyed to stay here.

Near to Kurashiki bikan. Nice atmosphere. Great place to sit down and relax. There are some shops in the complex also.

Even on a sunny day the square itself was not very welcoming but the shps have an astonishing array of cotton goods. Heven on a stick if you are a fan of jeans.

The Ivy Square is within the old Bikan Historical Quarter, and walking about and around it has 2 main plus points : firstly, there's no entry fee; secondly, it's an amazing sight to behold seeing the vines wrapped onto the building structures....makes you turn green with envy. It's a picturesque setting, and great for stopping by and having a cups coffee.
