This hotel was perfect for an overnight stay we had in Narita before flying out the next day. The room was a bit small and the bathroom needs to be updated. However, everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. We would recommend this hotel for the purpose of an overnight.

Location is at Narita station, only one station away from Narita airport. Really just around the corner of the station so even with large luggage this place works fine.

Hotel is old and it shows. In winter time lobby level restaurants and lobby it self is cold while people are coming and going through front door. Cold is also the greeting in your room when you enter. Took good one hour to warm up to the temperature to take coat off.

Rooms being old has a benefit of being larger than average rooms at nearby airports. Yet being old shows by untidy furnishing, noisy door hinges etc.

Staff and service is worth of positive comments. As well as Japanese restaurant on second floor.

I would not recommend for business travelers.

Room Tip: Hotel has two "towers". For room in second tower you need to take lift to third floor, walk through link walkway and take second lift.

Getting to the hotel is easy, just hop on to the complimentary shuttle bus running between T2/T1 and the hotel. Upon arriving, front desk officer greeted with a smile. Check-in was a breeze as the hotel is ready with my details. Room is old and small (typical of a Japanese hotel) but clean. There’s a nearby McDonald’s and lots of convenience store around the vicinity of the hotel. This hotel is perfect for passengers transiting overnight in Narita.

The hotel is located a short walk from both Keisei Narita station and JR Narita station. Additionally, it has a Lawson convenient store right across the street, as well as the variety of restaurants nearby. However, the room (901) is a bit of a disappointment, the bathroom had a strong damp smell, like a wet dog has been living there. Also, the room needs some refreshment, with holes and marks on the walls. The staff is quite friendly and helpful, however, my stay preference was to be away from the elevator, they have managed to put me in the first room next to it, better attention to details is required. Overall, an average experience at this hotel.

You just can’t beat it. Mercure hotel is located in the best place in town, the Narita station. It is with walking distance to the local buses, the JR train station, and the Temple - a major attraction in Narita. Additionally, the hotel provides all the basic needs for travelers. The breakfast is great. It’s includes Japanese and western type of food. To top all of that, it’s even have a shuttle from and to the airport.

I’m definitely plan to use this hotel in my future travels to Japan.
