We stayed here with our 2 boys so that we could visit Disney. We had a family room which contained 2 single beds and 2 slightly bigger than single beds...a coffee table and chairs. The TV had very few western channels. The beds were Asia hard...but not the worst I’ve slept in. The bathroom was acceptable with a nice high pressure shower. The Grand Cinq restaurant for breakfast was buffet style, but not particularly good quality but acceptable when you’re in a hurry. The Japanese restaurant was average but with no English translation (even for prices). My main gripe really was that we checked out at about 7.45am as we wanted another day in Disney and left our bags with the concierge. A couple of hours into the day my youngest realized he’d left his fitness watch in the room. When we returned to the hotel to collect our suitcases I told reception that the watch had been left in the room but they said nothing had been found. I believe that the cleaners took it. As there was no safe in the room I would suggest that if you stay here take care of possessions as the staff are clearly not very honest and a little light-fingered!

We had the Kiddies room which was basically couple of beds put together against the wall. Love the idea with no carpets with 2 young kids but in Japan most of the stuff is pretty clean.
If you are planning to go to Disney resorts this is the place, great shuttle service take you to and from and it’s free!!!
If you want to hang around big city this won’t be it, as it about 30-40 mins away even though the station is right there.
Great convenient shop downstairs which is very handy but at night around say 9-11 pm it’s like peak hour.
Overall, for first time in Japan, I was very happy with the stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful, even little English is better then nothing.
Very family friendly.

Room Tip: Shop around, prices keep changing.

Fantastic location. Across the Shin Urayasu Train station and regular shuttle to both Disneyland & Disney Sea. + Convenience store on the ground floor. We were upgraded to a bigger room on 11th floor which has MW oven so it's a ++ for us. Staff are very friendly. There is also a foot massage machine in the room.

Room Tip: 11th Floor room has MW oven

Spacious room for 5. Clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast delicious, but make sure you get there early as it can get very busy especially on the weekends. Room lacked the basic such as coffee, sugar and milk and only supplied green tea which was a bit of a let down. Hotel extremely close to train station which is a bonus (only one stop to Disneyland and 17 mins on rapid service to Tokyo). We loved the easy access to shops and food outlets. Definitely stay here again and would recommend to others

Booking our stay at the Oriental hotel was one of the best decision that i made for our first trip to Japan. Disney Sea was the last destination on our list and after reading all the reviews about how accessible this hotel is to Disney, i decided to go for it. It was a short stay (3 days 2 nights) but I did enjoy it.
-The location is wonderful, basically once you get off of Shin-Urashu station, walk across the bridge on the left and the hotel is right there and that's like a 2 minutes walk. There're PLENTY of food options as the Aeon Mall is on the right side of the station, same thing, 2-3 minutes walk to get to. There's a free shuttle bus that come every 10 minutes to take you to Disney. To get to the Odaiba area there's 1 train transfer but shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes. There's also a bus that take you to Narita airport but this bus is a little more tricky because it comes every few hours so you have to plan it out accordingly, and the hotel only take cash for the ticket.
-Honestly, for me the location itself is what earned this hotel 4 stars because there was nothing exceptional about the room, it's pretty basic. I guess its because you get what you pay for and i only paid 60 dollars a night so i wasn't expecting for anything luxurious. With that being said, pretty much all the necessary amenities were provided, there's even a foot massage machine. Size wide, compare to the experience i had at the APA on the first night, this was better, still small but there was room for me to move around and enough room for me to open both of my luggage, trust me you'll see how that could a problem when you get there.
-Staff weren't friendly, as the matter of facts i don't recall seeing any of them smiling at the guests. But they were helpful, keep in mind that they won't allow you to check in until 3PM and for some reason they're pretty strict on this, so in case you arrive early just ask them to hold on to your bags/luggage so you can roam around the area.
