Pretty typical older business hotel. Its a nice place to stay for much cheaper.

Pros- places to eat nearby, parking, clean, friendly staff.

Cons- older and dated

Breakfast was good, was a bit bummed out since i don't care much for Japanese breakfast. I asked the front desk specifically if it was western, and was told yea, but its not. Good coffee though and bread so i was happy for i think 865¥

The staff are nice, but they can't make up for a hotel that is old, tired, in need of a major facelift and just no reason why I can even imagine coming back here. Hotel carpets are disgusting both in and out of the rooms. Which always makes me think it is not clean...and I just get a feeling that they do a quick sweep of the rooms and leave. The lighting is extremely poor by the desk and in the bathrooms. The rooms smell. I've read other comments and they just stink. The A/C works fine and so does the internet. Room size is large by Japanese standards. Furniture is old and not comfortable. Desk is too small to work on and padding is all gone on the seat. I took the extra blanket and am sitting on that. Standard hard bed. One crummy restaurant across the street to eat at, otherwise about a 10 minute walk to the area that caters to the Airmen out of Gate 2. ..which is overpriced and not very good food.

Next time, I'll spend the extra money and find something that is more comfortable. This place is not worth your money.

The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff is awesome to work with. I book many nights for our company staff and they all love it. The rooms are more then spacious for hotels in Japan and the prices are more then responsible. Try the grilled chicken for lunch one day at the restaurant, I was pleased with not only the food but the presentation as well.

I chose this location for our business use not only for the location between Kadena and Camp Foster but also for the area.

There is a grocery store less then a block from the hotel. Within the grocery store building (look for the 3 diamonds) there is local restaurant as well as a McDonalds, if you want American Fast food. They have bento boxes in it as well as sushi to go. If you need to pick up office supplies there is a 100 yen store in the building as well.

For Japanese fast food there is a Hoto Moto within walking distance.

One street over there is wonderful restaurant "Zen". There is no English menu but the food is wonderful. I've had the pasta, the steaks, the pizza... The man who makes the pizza is fluent in English.

If you want Kobe beef there is the Four Seasons just up the street.

Just behind the hotel is little bakery with pastries, turn overs, curry buns etc...

Just behind the AU phone store there is a little club called Reverse. There is a live band that plays 50 and 60's American music.

I have not been here with my three year old but If I did there is a Zoo very close by.

I can on and on about the surrounding area but be adventurous and explore. It is a very safe area, I've walked it many times.

Before I forget the Wifi is very fast. If you need English television you have 2 channels. My TV is seldom on. Also they have bikes for use (free) if you want to go for a ride. Parking is free.

Room Tip: I prefer the rooms opposite the street side. They are a bit smaller but quieter.

Mom and pop like hotel near Kadena air base. Small rooms as rooms are in Japan. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast is adequate. Had a small router in my room so Internet was very good. Had a refrigerator and mini bar in my room along with clean steam iron and board. Large TV and DVD player too if that's your thing. Nice balcony in my room too. I like this place.

Room Tip: Get a suite for a bit more room and a balcony.

Stayed one night here. Nothing around the hotel. Street noise was very loud. Stayed on the top floor, so you can see a lot of roofs of homes. The rooms were actually rather large for Japan standards. Couldn't get the heat to work since everything was in Japanese. You would think with all the Americans staying here they would at least print things in English.

The elevator was slow. It appeared all the carpet and furnishings were very worn and dated. The beds were nothing more than a step above sleeping on plywood.

The internet was slow during the high usage period. But, since I couldn't sleep during the late hours do to the outside noise, the internet was actually pretty decent.

The only saving grace was the breakfast. Fresh coffee and orange juice. Scrambled eggs and ham. Croissants and jelly. Soups and salads. I personally would not stay at this hotel due to it's dated appearance and the very uncomfortable beds. Also, it's in a very noisy part of town and the windows do nothing to keep the noise out.

Room Tip: Get a high room on the back side of the hotel. The street noise is terrible.
