Booked this unit some time ago and had good reviews and found it was a good place other than the lack of even the basic food cooking items other than just a jug and one cup
Complex is ok the pool on level 7 is nice but the games room say to contact security for pool balls and cues or table tennis balls and bats but they don’t have them or don’t want to know about it so the games rooms are a totally useless
The apartment is very clean but bedding is not great two odd pillows one very hard the other so soft would be ok if your single
Very expensive for what you get when there are so many units available other than being very clean not much more to say

Stayed two nights between a flight to Singapore and a couple of weeks traveling Malaysia. Johor Bahru is not the typical traveler destination so I'm not quite sure what type of accommodation you can find there but I don't think you can go wrong by choosing the Meldrum !

It's very well located on the Meldrum street close to shops, restaurants and the Customs CIQ. The hotel is very clean and well furnished.

The hotel is a budget hotel with the basic amenities and a excellent location located just 5 minutes walk from City Square. They are plenty of food stalls and next to a 7/11. The room is basic but the floor can be slightly dirty. There is free WIFI provided but never worked. Good for a 2D1N trip to JB.

Room tip: Rooms not facing the street are quieter. Non smoking rooms on level 3 and 4

A good place for families who are here for a quick trip and exploring the outdoors more. The rooms are actually quite well maintained and TV is not too bad. The room doesnt have a bad smell to it. Fancy red? Yea this hotel has it almost everywhere. Very friendly receptionist!
