We took the one bedroom deluxe with seaview. It was fanstastic with a private bedroom, bathroom with tub, living area and a mini fully furnished kitchenette. Was able to cook during our 2-night stay since there were utensils. Though wasn't able to use the pool but quite decent, then there's a 24-h gym and game room wherein we play ps4 . The same room as the game room is the laundry so we played while waiting.. And the best thing is that it's a few minutes walk to the City Square mall and JB custom. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I just love the whole experience... Highly recommended.

Stayed for one night at Capri. The hotel is really near the checkpoint, but accessible only by car. Did find the carpark very confusing and you have to park at the limited red lots available for hotel guests. The hotel looks inviting, reception staff was polite and nice.
Overall. Modern fitting, spacious room and comfortable sleep. Love the huge shower area and great smelling toiletries. Wished the room was cleaned, dust could be seen everywhere and the carpet was particularly dirty. Maybe overlooked by the housekeeping. Would return again for more night stays. Having stayed at 3 different hotels, for accessibility to the city square and komtar, Puteri pacific and Amari are definitely better choices and walking is still possible.

When travelling to JB from Singapore for a weekend trip, the first consideration for your hotel would be the location. It must be central enough to the Checkpoint and easily accessible (so that you can drop off your shopping in between trips). While Capri is quite new (and therefore quite clean) and spacious, I found it to be quite inaccessible by walking. While it is definitely within walking distance (you can see it clearly from the station), getting there is not easy and you have to walk along several lanes of traffic to get there in a reasonable amount of time.
