Went with with my family including 3 young children. Hotel looked nice from outside and lobby is nicely done up. Check in was fast and staff are quite helpful. That's about all the good things.

Booked a family room was given level 1, no windows, corridor is small, hot, stuffy like a war tunnel. Rooms were small and ac took almost 3 hrs to cool the room. Wet black mouldy patches was found on the wall. It was like a prison cell. Request to change.

Given 3rd floor was advised that ac in this room was not as cold as level 1, clarified this and the staff said the ac is cold but not as cold as level 1. We check into the new room which was cleaner than the first. Waited for 2 hrs but the room was as warm as an oven. Could not breath. Asked for a fan but it was not available. I worried we suffocate and cannot wake up the next day.. staff was helpful to change 3rd room which was smaller. We were ok with that.

It was already 1230am when we get into room 3. The ac took 2 hrs to feel a little cold. The kids took off their clothes cos they couldn't sleep. Sign.. They were all sticky and sweating until like 4am then we felt ok..

Breakfast was terrible, only 4 to 5 things available and looked like left over for a week. The breakfast area had a weird smell we give it miss.. We ate at city square instead. .

Do not recommend. Not even average..

stay here for a night. easy to find as Long as u know where is pelangi plaza. location wise easy to find except the surrounding is not clean.
the air freshener of the hotel used turns me down. smell of toilet freshness n the entrance to lift for rooms is just next to toilet where a glass door is for divided for house guest only. safety for house guest n new lift technology. Internet at lobby. Receptionists are friendly n chk In fast. welcome drink n hot towel is great. hotel not full I think on a Saturday night. zero sound proof, corridor is dim n smell mouldy when the hotel trying their best to wall paint decor. pillow too soft n TV too high. aircon is great. toilet very small about 90cm by 150cm but water heater is great. big size or taller person will hv problems using toilet as toilet bowl is facing the bed and the folding doors which is hard to close. need to use side way. the table at the bed is shaky and blocking way. mineral water provided in room.

overall great stay for the price paid. thur-sat is weekend and sun-wed is weekday.

many food around hotel and near shopping mall n taxi ride to KSL.

will stay again.

Stayed in a family room for one night because the queue at causeway was very long and didn't move after 30 minutes.

We were amazed by the touch screen panel in the lift.
Nice room design with 2 queen size beds for 4 paxs. There was free wifi and mineral water in the room.

Hotel rate was less than S$80 and included breakfast for 4 paxs. Breakfast was simple but good. Mee siam, fried rice, roti prata and bread.

The hotel was not too far from the main town, and it was situated at Pelangi, which had a lot of local activities, mainly arising from the chinese locals in Johor. The hotel was pleasant, the staff were good and we were served drinks the moment we entered the lobby. This was something nice. The bed was comfortable, there was no problem with the water heater and we could get Singapore channels at a clear vision on the television. The rooms were interestingly designed. You could see the efforts are taken to maintain the hotel. My parents commented that this hotel is good compared to many other poorly managed ones. The only thing I do not like too much is the cleanliness outside of the hotel (the shops beside it) and the narrow road.

Do not take this hotel if you are not a budget traveller, lots of children and if you are someone who prefers classiness. The hotel management has made this place interesting by adding paints, drawings, colours, pictures, lanterns. However paint wearing off is quite evident.
