I visited this hotel and had a nightmare! Not worth RM275! The place has many cockroaches! And the room is super old!!! The tv is small and all channels are blur! The toilets are dirty , the mirror is broken, all and slow service, and the staff was cranky!! What's happening???

Rooms are ok, hotel service staff was decent with good English, but poor customer service. Got mocked in Malay language , perhaps they didn't realised that I knew their language.

Buffet spread was decent. I sat by the window and noticed oily stains. Couldn't confirm if it was interior or exterior. Bad sight while having breakfast facing the sea :/

Firstly, thanks for addressing that the room condition is okay but however we will get our housekeeping team to rectify the issues as highlighted above with utmost urgency in order for us to undertake further action immediately. As we are located near the Waterfront, our hotel provides view of either facing the sea or the city. Another great area where you can view this stunning sea view is from our coffee house Salt & Pepper Café where you can see Singapore across the Straits of Johor as you highlighted above.

We also would like to thank you for your positive feedback on our breakfast which will be conveyed to our F&B team as this will motivate the team to strive harder to provide better services.

We value your patronage and hope that you will give us the opportunity to serve you again in the near future.

Location is excellent if you are planning to hop across from Singapore and visit places around the South Coast of Malaysia.
Room was facing the waterfront and could see Singapore across the harbor.(Very Scenic)
Room is nice and spacious, but the bathroom especially the bath tub needs refurbishment.
Breakfast Buffet is really good with a lovely spread.

It is nice to hear your positive comments mentioned the rooms are very spacious and also we are very glad to know that you have enjoyed the room views overlooking the waterfront. We also would like to thank you for your positive feedback on our breakfast which will be conveyed to our F&B team as this will motivate the team to strive harder to provide better services.

Just to share with you that we are doing preventive maintenance job to our rooms in order to meet our guest expectations and this preventive maintenance program is an ongoing process for vast quality improvement including the refurbishment of bathtub would be part of this project. We certainly spend a lot of effort to maintain our facilities always on top level as it is essential to retain and deliver reliable customer service and to meet our customers’ needs is our paramount.

Pleasant stay at Berjaya Waterfront hotel for two days one night, except that there was an issue with the water that affects many of us, and we could only bathe in cold water.

Location is convenient to Jb Custom and surrounding the hotel was some bars and pubs.
Room is quite spacious. Also glad my room is facing sea and city view.

Room tip: sea view location

Was reminded by agoda to rate my stay on 5th of may 2018 at berjaya hotel jb. checked in around 8pm and was warmly greeted at the lobby entrance by the well groomed front desk officer kiren. booked for 2 deluxe twin room, but the front desk officer kiren was nice enough to suggest to my friends and i an deluxe interconnecting room. was checked in by another colleague who needs more training in terms of ''hospitality'' was really glad kiren was there to assist me and compile to my special request eventhoe it was on a weekend....... - Irynn Chieong
