The pictures on trip adviser do not represent the hotel accurately. The hotel is at the end of a row of modern shophouses. The rooms could do with refurbishment. The family room we were allocated had a dirty carpet with various stains and burn marks from an iron. The wardrobe unit was an old free-standing unit with badly fitting doors and only had 2 hangers in it! The bathroom had both a bath and shower in it but the shower had no cubicle with the whole bathroom floor wet after a shower.

When we arrived the whole front of the hotel was obscured by a coach so we had to find a parking space on the street, get a trolley from the hotel to get our luggage from our car to the hotel in the rain. The hotel claims to have a concierge, if it does he was hiding as we had no help with our luggage either on arrival or departure.

Whilst the room rate was attractive, we have stayed in better located hotels in Johor Bahru in the past with similar rates and in better locations, with better facilities and rooms in better condition.

The room has a strong smell.. seems from the fabric linens..but nevertheless its strong overpowers the fresh air. If given the choice I would have transferred somewhere else.

Room is clean though and beds are comfortable.

I stayed here a few years back and decided to stay again. It’s a small hotel not on the main road but close to KSL City Mall and Plaza Pelangi.

The rooms are spacious and well appointed. View over the city as we were on the top floor.

The rates are very affordable and would suit families or couples. It’s not 5 star but doesn’t pretend to be either and that’s totally okay.
