In fact nothing bad...nothing disastrous…. but…. If you have to pay almost 150 USD per night one may expect something better. First of all you should note that this is a golf resort- surrounded by the golf course and during the weekend full of the golfers coming with the families from the nearby Singapore. If you entering the resort by car definitely you can be lost (there are no visible signs of the reception building). Later the movement around the resort is more or less assured by the electric trolleys. We have chosen the upgraded rooms in the Anugraha building. The staff was acceptable- they have served the welcoming drinks and we had the occasion to see the room… definitely disappointing. Our was quite spacious but absolutely not up to five stars standards- with (small) cockroaches in the bathroom, well worn furniture and the musty smell. The doors to the veranda was broken, and although I have called the reception nobody has solved the problem until our departure. The spa and swimming pool was not bad but nothing special. Problem has started when we wanted to walk around- the guard has warned us that we can’t walk in fact anyway for our own security (because of the flying golf balls). Finally I have asked so where can we walk- and the answer has astonished me… the guard has suggested to walk to the restaurant and back…. Breakfast next day was another disaster- with cold coffee, cold noodles, cold eggs and staff suitable to serve the guests of shelter for homeless… Absolutely never again…

We stayed for a night at Cinta Ayu All Suites in Pulai Springs Resort just recently. We have requested for a rollaway bed a couple of weeks earlier but upon check-in at 5pm, there wasn't any. After a few calls made to the Housekeeping Dept., they only assembled the rollaway bed when we were out after 9:00pm. There's a nice pool on the 2nd floor of our block which closes earlier than the one opposite our block at the Sports Center (5 mins walk). There are 3 pools at the Sports Center with beautiful landscaping and there's a slide at the kids' pool.

Our room is spacious and clean with a tiny balcony overlooking partial golf course. The toilet is clean too. Breakfast buffet was average. We appreciate that there's a separate sink in our bedroom, easier for making drinks and cleaning cups.

It's a nice place to stay for a change if you want to visit Johor Bahru. Beautiful greens of golf course surrounds you when you stay at Pulai Springs. Only half hour away from JB by car and less than half hour to Johor Premium Outlet. There's a free shuttle bus from the hotel to take you to Johor Premium Outlet. We drove to Danga Bay for dinner that night.

The resort has two golf courses, both are in very bad conditions - the fairways and greens are taken over by weeds, the bunkers are not properly sanded, the greens are very slow and bumpy.

I suspect that the management staffs of the resort are not golfers and can’t tell the different between maintaining a golf course and a soccer field.

Everything is upon request.. Including towels and tooth brushes/paste.. And it took 6 phone calls (which they didn't even apologise) and 2++ hours for them to deliver.. The furnishing is old and stained.. Beds are hard.. For the price I pay.. I get a motel service

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Pulai Springs Resort. The suite that we booked was well-maintained, clean and comfortable. The resort also provides transport to Johor Premium Outlet at specific timings for the guests. The wide range of facilities which includes table tennis, squash, swimming pools, free movies etc.

All in all, it's a wonderful resort experience.
