Went to Sari Village last week and stayed for 4 nights.

-Best view of the island facing the sea
-Went to fishing with Zainol's son in law and caught 28 fishes! a good activity to do. Recommended
-Delicious BBQ dinner by the pool cooked by his daughter. Satay, Fish and big king prawns!
-Private and quiet enough for families, friends and especially couples!

*As this is a private villa which dont operate for profit so make sure u dont expect a fast reply for email.

Once again TQ Zainol for having my group of friends and sorry for making so much noise at night. We will definitely visit u in the future.

Actually,I haven't get a chance to stay here. But just want to share on how they treat us as a customer who has a right to enquire about the accomodation.
At first,my family and I were so attracted with the info that we read from their website. The photo gallery showed lots of great pictures and facilities that will make a good stay. Plus, the good reviews in the Trip Advisor makes us even excited to stay here. I emailed them and received the reply asking us on particulars of occupants that will be in the trip. I plan to visit Langkawi bringing my parents and siblings as part of celebration of my parents' wedding anniversary. our group consist of 10 adults,4 children and 2 infants.

The 2nd reply told us that we should take a 4bedroom villa and 1 family studio to accomodate us with the price breakdown plus with the breakfast. But,since this is a family trip and yet kids always(and they don't mind)sleeping with the parents, I'm asking if we can book and stay in the 4 bedroom villa as long as we can celebrate and stay under the same roof...plus,some of us are planning to sleep in tent at their private beach area as well.

But,the next reply that i received made my heart broken. They turned down our enquiry and show us the exit way. The previous offer that they gave us is invalid already. I feel ashamed and frustrated with the way they treat us as a customer. I don't mind at all if they mention that all of us can't stay under the same roof but please...!..Respect us as customers who wants to figure it all out to make our trip as one the most wonderful surprise to our parents. If the owner/customer service officer said that we can't book that,we'll sure that we proceed with the offer that they proposed to us previously plus we might considering rent a big boat for island hopping trip.

So those who plan to stay here, rethink before you do. Please treat us Malaysians as same as other foreigners.

Very serene place high in the mountains with wonderful seaview. Friendly and helpful host too. Recommended for families who wants to be away from the bustling Cenang area. Anyway, it's just 10 minutes drive away to cenang if you're too worried about food and convenient stores.

This is our second visit to Sari Village. This time we brought our family group of 14 and spent a week in two houses at Sari Village. Zainol is a most exceptional & wonderful host and we enjoyed beautiful Malaysian breakfasts, incredible dinners and special private Island visits. The houses are beautiful, all having stunning views across the Islands surrounding Langkawi. This is truly a private paradise. We are now firm friends with Zainol and his family. We cannot thank you enough for an incredible holiday and stay with you once again Zainol!
