Wonderfully landscaped property with a great beach and horizon view, the RZ Langkawi is a gem. Food and beverage provisions are superb, and the general care and hospitality offered by the staff is a treat.
The rooms are excellent, with all mod cons, and there are enough activity options on the estate to keep one occupied no matter how long you stay. Thoroughly recommended

We had an amazing time at the Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
The rooms were neat & very comfortable.
And from the beginning, you could tell the service was their number one priority.
As we reached to the shop area, we were greeted by one of the staff, Q. She assisted us to Langkawi Kitchen for breakfast.
At the Langkawi Kitchen, we were assisted by Nurul. She gave us a buffet tour. Not to forget the other staff; Olivia, Faiz, Atikah. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options. We enjoyed it!
The horizon & the beach grill area was fantastic, and the staff were always smiling and ready to help. Thanks to Canedy, Sufian & Syukri.
Not to forget the buggy drivers; Akmal, Syahmi and others for giving us a ride inside the resort whenever we requested. Can't wait to come back!"

In addition to using recycled materials, we also have a sea cucumber (locally known as ‘gamat’) nursery near the beach, where we work to preserve and repopulate this underrated hero of the ocean. Guests can observe them up close or even participate in the initiative and engage with our in-house marine biologist if they wish to learn more about these creatures and other sustainability efforts at our tropical sanctuary.

Service is fantastic. Well taken care of.
Used their airport pickup which was a breeze. A lot of taxi operator swop down on arrival like hyenas. Luckily the hotel representative guided my away quickly to the awaiting transport. Abt 5-10mins drive away. Good for a relaxing trip.
Check in was done in an open air setting filled with nature. V pleasant.
Room was well maintained and designed with luxury amenities.
The adults only pool had an amazing infinity view of the ocean. Pool attendants were prompted in the service.
Ritz kids is a saviour for us parents where we could drop off our child for some relaxation time by ourself.
Breakfast was the wow factor for us. Some items were prepared on the spot, the staff told us we could go back to our seat first and assure us they will bring the food to us. But we did not even give them our table location but somehow they seems to know. Very attentive esp in a crowded setting. Impressive.
On the last night, my son fingernail was chipped after playing in room carelessly. The hotel promptly sent first aid trained staff over to assist, however the incident requires a doctor. They quickly arranged for a driver to bring us to a clinic despite being late at night and they did not charge us for the transport fees. Bearing in mind the incident happened with no fault of the property. We were very thankful for their prompt assistance in this matter.
Definitely one of the top nearby getaway for us. 👍

We had the most incredible experience at the Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi! From the beginning, you could tell service was their number one priority. With Titanium Bonvoy status, we had free breakfast, were treated with special gifts each day, and greeted by every member of the management team. I originally booked one of the Rainforest Deluxe King rooms. I used my nightly upgrade rewards and we were upgraded to the Grand Ocean Front Villa. It was the most beautiful villa we have ever stayed in. The room was immaculate and very spacious. We had a small issue with the air conditioning one night, but the engineering department was quick to fix it and we were given free drinks for the very slight inconvenience.
Not only was the property very nice, but what made the trip for us was the staff. Harraz at check-in and check-out was prompt, courteous, and made sure we had everything we needed. On check-out he gave us 2 RC hats and a thoughtful handwritten note after noticing that we had been looking at them at the gift shop. It was really this small gesture and touch that made us appreciate the staff going above and beyond. Karthik was so generous to us and made sure we were taken care of every single day. Niam, Mia, Ling Lee, and many others made the experience so much more enjoyable. The staff is really what made this a trip of a lifetime.
We spent most of our time on the property as we had been traveling around Asia the last two weeks and had wanted to just relax. The beach was very nice and spacious with plenty of beach chairs. Every now and then the staff would walk around with fruit, cool towels, or some other treat. They always made sure our water and drinks were full. The infinity pool at the Horizon Bar was beautiful. It was plenty big and adults-only so there was plenty of room to spread out. It was a very relaxing experience.
As far as the restaurants are concerned, we tried all of them except the Langkawi Kitchen for dinner. Breakfast is served in the Langkawi Kitchen and its a large buffet with every type of food you could think of. There's also a mimosa bar which made for a great start to the day. We really enjoyed our experience at the Hai Yan restaurant. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed watching the sunsets and the food at the Horizon Bar. You really can't go wrong at any of the restaurants on the property.
We're very thankful for everyone who made our vacation great, and we can't wait to come back to visit again!
