The Cabin is relatively cheap and is located on the main strip of Cenang beach and less than a minute walk away from the popular Yellow Cafe.
Is it a little worn and showing signs of wear and tear? Yes. Paint is a little chipped around most places and some of the power sockets didn't work. Did it have very little amenities? Yes, I wouldn't count on their shampoo or body wash set provided but towels and toilet roll were provided. But we didn't choose the place because we wanted a Ritz experience and we paid for the room accordingly.
A couple of points though. It was extremely cold for my partner and I, possibly because neither of us have the habit of sleeping with the AC on. In our cabin (1020) the AC unit was blowing directly to the bed. There were no ceiling fans or other sort of ventilation but thankfully we slept fine through the 2nd night without the AC on.
When we were leaving on day 3, we did realise that there seemed to be small bugs crawling around between the sheets and blanket. They didn't look like bed bugs, neither was there a lot of them to be utterly disgusting. Truth be told it was also likely that we treked them into the room after a day on the beach.
All in all, you don't pay much so don't expect too much. It's decent enough for a short stay and is fairly centrally located along the main strip to be at most 10 minutes away from most stores.
