My husband and I stayed at Soluna after reading the few reviews we saw on trip advisor. The owner Claudia was kindly responding to our emails the entire day to ensure we would have a room. Soluna is the place you want to stay if you are seeking clean affordable rooms with a peaceful location close to town with a true Malay feel all at the same time.

We have stayed in many places since Soluna and no where has been as CLEAN and comfortable. Once you're there it's do relaxing you don't want to leave.

We booked this guesthouse for 1 night as it only had 2 reviews at the time, when we arrived we realised that it was the perfect place to stay and relax for a while. Although it was pretty booked up, with a bit of room swapping we were able to extend our stay for 2 weeks. The rooms are a good size, spotlessly clean and in my opinion, underpriced. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the main strip but set in a quiet spot in the middle of picturesque farmland.
While we were staying there was a great mix of backpackers, couples and families, always someone to chat to in the pleasant communal area. The cheap food from next door is a bonus as well.

We will definitely stay here again if we return to Malaysia.

Great place to stay, very relaxing yet beautiful scenes every where. Not much rooms available, would be better call to book instead of walk in. It is much more value than the pay. DEfinitely will be back for the next trip.
