Whenever we are in KB, Perdana is our second home. Good breakfast spread, though there are ups & downs, Perdana is still top in the list. Its chinese restaurant, Jade, is one of the best restaurant that serves halal chinese food in KB. Thumbs up to Chef Eh Bao & his dedicated team. Ban Suan Fish, Mango Chicken, Mongolian Prawns, Deep Fried Crispy Oyster, Jelly Fin with crab meat...the best !

I stayed with my daughter in one of the lower floored twin rooms. The room itself looked and felt clean but the bathroom looked like it had seen better days. Cracks and chipped wood everywhere. The bathtub was raised so high that I felt like a gymnast everytime I had to get in and out of it. The room was a good size though, could easily fit in another mattress or single bed.
The breakfast buffet was very good. They had the traditional Kelantan food such as Nasi Dagang and Laksam and also your continental breakfast spread too.
The pool looked nice but I didn't try it out.
Location-wise, the hotel is smack in the middle of town. Walking distance to the Kelantan Museum and Arts Gallery, also to the Kota Bahru Stadium and the many stalls surrounding it. The staff were very friendly and seemed equipped in handling guests during this pandemic season.
May repeat staying here again if ever in Kelantan.

Room is very conducive, thanks to its recent refurbishment. Strategically located within Kota Bharu to various tourist spots. Through COVID-19, the hotel diligently execute its SOP which can be observed from its morning breakfast buffet. Will definitely come back.

Checking in was smooth even though my earlier call to ask for early check-in was answered based on a scripted, firm policy (no check in before 3pm, no matter what, full stop) but that didn’t stop the receptionist to politely upgrade me to executive room upon 3pm checking in, what a pleasant surprise!

My 2-night stay was a little disrupted when I called for room service for some cutlery request and they took nearly one hour to deliver to my room and that only happened after multiple follow-up calls made. I thought it was just once incident due to understandably heavy traffic at the restaurant but the next day when I asked for room service for breakfast the same thing happened. And they gave the expected excuses.

Thanks to ARIS HOUSEKEEPING who made my last day of stay rather memorable with his immediate response and attentive helps!

While most other hotels are suffering from COVID-19 I was hoping this hotel doesn’t take it for granted and start to buck it up to ensure business continuity for the company and employees are sustained. As competition for hotel businesses is not as intense as the other bigger cities, Hotel Perdana should keep up its quality of service and brand promise, and stay far away from being monopolistic but remains commendable & worth the money to spend on.
