The room was comfortable and the place was clean including the bathroom. Love for the old school design. However the room is more comfort if got a fan for a good ventilation plus the bath tub in the room is slightly slippery and think that it is not safe for people to use it with the soap. quiet dangerous.
Overall the service and the breakfast really delicious and we are really happy for this couple moment.

Brinchang is near the highest point in Cameron Highlands. Decades ago, this would have been a much quieter town but with greater road connectivity and development, the town is messy and noisy. The hotel is located near eateries and shops (nothing modern). However, this has its disadvantages. The noise from vehicles and passerbys is loud. We did not have problems with not having an air conditioner or fan as the temperatures are pleasant at night. However, opening the windows allows the food smells from nearby restaurants to enter. It also increases the noise.
The breakfast is acceptable only if you like greasy noodles and spicy rice for local palates. There was one fruit but unfortunately, it was bland and tasteless.
In spite of the above, it should be pointed out that this is a budget hotel and for the room rates and the premium one pays to be in Cameron Highlands, one can't expect much more.

The hotel exterior is quite rundown as its rooms inside. Its like a hotel from the 80s with old bedsheet designs and carpet. The only good thing would be the the hotel restaurant which serves steamboat and morning breakfast.

Run down and old hotel with a very depressing environment. Rooms have an awkard layout with no fans and proper ventilation. Furnishing are worn out and mattress are also over used and did not give good sleep. There is constant noise of the cars security alarms or people walking on the streets in the night.

Breakfast- very local breakfast with very limited options for vegetarians. Only 1 cereal type and bread, local coffee (no latte, cappuccino etc.) and 1-2 type of fruit. Staff are helpful if you smile and ask.

The front office staff are not very interactive. Not much was shared in terms of touristic spots or places to eat or explore.

We did not enjoy the stay. Since the room rate was not refundable, we stayed. Will never go back.

Room tip: If you decide to stay, dont take the rooms facing the road.

We have to accept in this area hotel standards vary wildly from our expectations ....
Stayed here 1 night only!
Staff friendly and obliging.
Room seen far better days.very noisy til about 01:00hrs
Beware the over shower bath and dirty shower curtain you cringe to use. Worse still the bath is extremly slippy ( bath mat supplied but mould all over) we used towel in the end in order to stay upright.
Breakfast, just keep walking and eat else where.
We moved to Strawberry Park resort an improvement.
Basically lower your expectations as it still is an amazing area of Malaysia to visit..
