I stayed for 2 nights during the weekend at this hotel. The staffs including En Faris are superbly friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions regarding the room very patiently. The hotel room is clean, bed is clean, bathroom is clean. The heater is a little bit noisy when it is functioning.
There are some parking spaces in front of the hotel, and ample of parking spaces behind the hotel ( the chinese food court parking), which may be a little bit crowded during meals time, but still you will be able to find one.
On the first night ( 22.4.17), the tenants of the room 306 were the most inconsiderate people that i had ever encountered in my whole life. Besides talking loudly at the corridor from 1am to 4am, they switched on the tv at a deafening volume despite receiving call from the receptionist to tune it down. They should be blacklisted for life as it will really affect the reputation of the hotel.
The handling of the case by hotel staffs was extremely professional and commendable. I was showered with apology and assurance that the noisy tenants would be checked out the following day.
For the second night, it was a peaceful and calm night.
The staffs really transcend the star of the hotel. I think they are as good as the staffs from other 5 star hotels. I will come again.

This is one of the best boutique hotels in Kuantan. It is clean and although spartanlike it is very well kept and maintained. The beds are superb. The airconditioning is wonderful - cold and nice - the way I like it to be. There is wonderful food-court just behind it which serves a delicious and eclectic variety of food. The food court opens way into the night. It is also located near shopping complexes and is on the road to the beach.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a window

Love this hotel for the cute room layout, small space and fully functioned. Big window overlooking the food court at the back, good location for evening dine out and supper. Very reasonably priced, definitely will come back again.

Good:
1. Convenient location - very near Teluk Cempedak and eateries (there's a food court right behind the hotel and a malay food cafe next to it)
2. Ample car parking space - if you are lucky, right in front of the hotel. Otherwise, the carpark next to the food court is fine.
3. Clean and relatively spacious room with all the amenities.
4. Reasonable price - we got a walk-in rate on Christmas day and stayed for 2 nights
5. Helpful and knowledgeable front desk/reception staff.

Bad:
1. Car park is only free on public holidays and certain time on weekends. The free carpark as advertised is only for 1 hour. Not really a problem for us as we are out most of the day and back to the hotel only at night
2. I can consistently smell ciggie smoke in the room. Like many reviewers pointed out, the hotel doesn't impose the no-smoking policy strictly. I suspect that many guests smoke in their rooms and along the corridor and smoke seeped into guest rooms.
3. Noise level - agree with some reviewers. The room door is useless in blocking noise from outside. Had the misfortune of staying next to a room with very very noisy guests.

Will I stay here again? Probably not. Lots of competitor hotels in Kuantan and it can do better to improve on the cons

The condition of the hotel is very good, The bed is comfy, room is very clean and the location is close to Telok Chempedak and the city. The reception can be a bit sticky of towel replacement, but I am just nickpicking. Overall a recommended stay.
