We had a room WITH windows (some don't have).
It was a really really confortable and clean room.
The hotel location is top as Ipoh is a small town, you can do everything by foot.
The personnel was great ! Thank you Ipoh Hôtel !

I actually booked directly with the hotel and this was a cause for confusion with the hotel. They dont automatically confirm the appointment and when I emailed them for confirmation they made another booking. Some of the staffs grasp of English is not that high. Once arrived at the hotel sorted it all out. The room was quite good in are with many restaurants. Room cleaned daily in the morning. WiFi was good. The only thing I would suggest they add is a map showing sites around Ipoh. They have a map of restruants but as a tourist was more interested in site seeing. Would dtay again.

Check in fast, room size quite big, window with side alley (no view).
Wifi connection lousy, can't log in yet every time have to key in long username. Ask staff why can't connect, staff say iPhone login very troublesome
She thought me the trick but keep disconnected, reconnect need to key in long username again. Give up.

Water pot is different type, more like a pot to cook instant noodle.
Pillow too soft, can't sleep well. Bed still comfortable. Sunday morning got flee market, very noisy can't sleep.

The good point is location good, on check in, staff will give you a print out map for foodie. 5-10 mins walking distance to Chef Fatt dim sum (local favourite).
