I stayed here for almost 2 weeks during a course I had to attend in Greentown area, which is about 10 minutes walk. And beforehand, I called the hotel and did my reservation. And to my surprise, the reception (which was a middle aged man) who took my bookings weeks beforehand remembered me calling in. A plus. I got into my room. It was old, but clean. The first room we had didn't have any view worth looking at, I was looking at the back of some shop lot. So I asked for a change of room, which was not a problem since they have available room. So I moved to the new room, which is better.. bigger windows, and view of the street down below. Food? The hotel is surrounded by varieties of cheap and affordable street food, and also restaurants, it's not a problem to find decent food at all. That's a big plus for me. There's a 24 hours sundry shop just next to the hotel too. Safety? It's pretty alright, just the normal thing to do, don't stand out too much or flash too much. The hotel could be a little bit quite after 12am, since most of the street stalls would close around that time, and you have less people walking or driving by. Shopping? Depends on what you want. Conclusion. It's a decent hotel. no wifi though.. old, but clean.. a real deal if you are travelling on a budget.More
