Nice cave with beautiful paintings inside. Quite a few stairs to the top where you get a nice view of Ipoh from the top. Not very busy and no entry fee or dress requirements. If you've got time, worth checking out.

The cave itself had some wonderful statues but behind the main alter a flight of steps makes its way to the far recesses of the cave and out through an opening on the side of the hill. Luckily there were pavilions to Have a rest as it was 34 degrees. Mad dogs and English men!!! having reached the top the view was well worth the effort

The temple is clean with statues of Buddha, Guan Yin and other deities. It is cooling, gives good energy and calmness to one.

The entrance looks beautiful and the cave temple was big but to climb to the top was exceedingly difficult especially after we had visited Gua Tempurung cave, Kellie's Castle and kek long tong temple in the same day. You need to make a donation(any amount) to climb with the last entry at 4pm. We managed to get to 3/4 up of the way, where there was little hut. We also climbed to the end of those steps behind it. However, we could not complete the next part as the steps were so steep that we were literally rock climbing, having to use our hands to go up. We decided to abandon route as we felt that going any further was too dangerous. Not suitable for elderly and we saw many resting at the seats around the hut area.

This interesting cave temple is located a few kilometres from the city centre - taking a Grab seems to be the easiest way to get there (I combined it with a visit to Lang Mountain). The temple part isn't so special, but the location within a cave and all the stairs up to the very top of the rock formation make for an interesting visit.
