Great peaceful getaway

A really ideal place if you are looking for a quick getaway not far from the city. Despite the very serene surroundings of the property, Ipoh city centre is just about less than 15 minutes away by car. So it is perfect for that much needed break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Great place for friends, and even families. (The suites are very spacious)

Room tip: choose the one facing the lake for better peace of mind

Wedding ceremony

my dad's birthday party

we had a great lunch buffet spread on the day. their staff was so friendly and helpful. they really assisted each and everything so well and made sure everything was so memorable on the event day. i would like specially thank Mr. Ravi, who assisted us on technical part on the day (will never forget each and every help he did for us), Mr. Jeet (F&B) who made sure all the arrangements was great, and not forgetting great food served by Chef Syamsul and Chef Rajes. All our guest had a great time and liked the haven resort a lot. tq all the staff in the haven who made our celebration a memorable one.

70th birthday

Thank you to The Haven and the team for making our event such a memorable one. The ambience of the Hotel, The Gallery (event hall) and food was awesome. A special thanks to Ravi Shankar, Jeet, Chef Syamsul and Chef Rajes for assisting us to make the event a smooth one by fulfilling our requirements. The family and friends who attended had a great impression and experience too. From bottom of the heart, we thank and truly appreciate everyone's effort.

Serviced Apartments

Not sure if "suites" is the correct description as the development is basically three blocks of apartments, some of which are owner occupied.

The lake view unit we stayed in was spacious and clean. The apartment was showing some signs of age and I would estimate the development to be around 10 years old judging by the wear and tear of the fixtures.

There was some renovation nearby during the day and loud music coming into our unit around midnight which was dealt with quickly.

Service was generally excellent throughout with a single exception. Overall a good option for large families and those going to the lost world of tambun.

Thank you for your compliment on our suite and services. We feel that some clarification is in order, as we are an all-suite family resort and this is a most rare category in the hospitality industry.

The development was purpose-built as a family suite resort, and are not "services apartments". We are accredited by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture as a 5-star resort. The Haven offers its all-suite family units tailored to the expectation and needs of the family. With this in mind, our suites were deliberately designed to be large, and mainly 2/3 bedrooms suites.

We take pride in offering exceptional value and services, and have and will offer the very best to every single guest of ours. We wish all our guests appreciate our sincere efforts.
