With all the buzz around The Haven All Suite Resort, Ipoh, we had always longed for a staycation there. And we are so glad we visited, definitely worth the reviews.
Check-in was a breeze. The front office was kind enough not only to give a free room upgrade but also to decorate the bed and cooperate with me to surprise my wife. The cozy and spacious suite consists of full kitchenette, sofa, dining area, bathtub (a little small). Shower pressure can be better though. Not to mention, it comes with a spectacular view overlooking the iconic limestone, forests and lakes. With the Haven's natural environment, nocturnal chorus of singing insects will get you into deep sleep and you will wake up to the sound of the birds chirping the next morning. The resort is well-equipped with facilities like round-lake jogging track, trademark swimming pool, gym, sport courts, pet's corner (well-taken care of) etc. It is just a pity the pool was closed due to MCO during our stay.
There is another hidden gem here - the Cuisines Restaurant, which proudly proclaims the use of only the finest ingredients without artificial nonsense as the cornerstone. It is not an exaggeration, I will give them that. We came here for the sumptuous 6-course romantic candle light dinner by the lake, expecting small portions but boy, we were wrong. Not only generous in portion, the food was delicious. We also ordered a small Fresh Fruit Yee Sang and it was scrumptious, like no other we have tasted. Jeet, a young lad, was our waiter and we had excellent service. He was very friendly, prompt and always there to check on us. I can see that he was very conscientious about providing good service and customer satisfaction. In conclusion: wonderful dinner, great service, amazing ambiance and breathtaking view of the lake and mountains! In fact, the food was so good we went back for lunch the next day too. The breakfast included was nothing to shout about though. You should try their homemade The Haven Welcome Drink, it was so refreshing and rejuvenating.
We will come back for sure, to have a meal and to take a dip in the infinity pool. Heavenly Haven!

I and my husband was check in at The Haven on 6th February 2021 until 7th February 2021 (ROOM B-16-1). The arrangement was done with Miss Amelya Rosli.Thank you very much Miss Amelya for the great service,arrangment for suprise birthday for my husband and booking as long as we spend the night here. The room was clean,tidy & comfortable with the decoration & candle light dinner decoration very nice,sweet & awesome. The all foods for candle light dinner & breakfast from Crusine teams also fresh, delicious and great. I and my husband so happy stay here & we are will repeat again to stay here & recomend for all our relative family & friends. Had stayed at The Haven for several times. Excellent resort with consistent superb quality each time I stayed. You probably can't find any resort with such serene nature and yet only minutes away from the city! Clean room and facilities, food is amazing, professional staff, highly recommended... overall beyond 5-stars.

The Haven is a very scenic all-suite resort, conveniently located within minutes drive to the main Ipoh town. It is very family-friendly, has a nice pool, a children’s playroom equipped with a foolsball table, Wii, and board games; and also a well equipped gym and sports facilities.
We were there over the New Year’s Eve weekend. It was very kind of the Haven to upgrade us to 3BR apartments which gave the kids lots of room to play and interact with their cousins.
Special shout out to Senior Reservations Exec. Ms Lai Kuan. She was very prompt in her response when we first enquired about the accommodation and was most helpful to assist us in arranging for our rooms to be on the same floor and also assisted us in dining reservations within the premises. What was most awesome about her was that she went out of her way to courier back my kids’ water bottles which they accidentally left behind at the reception area when we checked out!!
Another person that we were grateful to was Mr Aven from F&B. He promptly set up a private area to host our extended family @Cuisines after he realised there was an internal miscommunication that failed to reflect our booking for New Year’s Eve dinner.
The housekeeping staff that we made contact with during our stay were very friendly and they were very efficient and thorough in their job. This resort definitely impress with their service level and attitude!
