Confort , cheap and easier to locate in the City centre of Georgetown Penang

It's a comfortable room of three stars hotel and can be considered cheap compares to the same standard in the City of Georgetown Penang.

Breakfast provided is niced and tasty. Free Wifi provided at the lobby. Very nice view located infront of the hotel is the University College (KDU). The hotel location in such away that even at night it could be easily to locate.

Room tip: Rooms in the front side are having a nice view. So far all rooms are equiped with an airconditioners.

A little off central, but not as inconvenient as one would think.

Hotel rooms is clean and cozy. Though it is situated a little 'far' away from the central area, you'll be surprised at how convenient it is! Just a turn take a turn (while facing the road), to the right you get a eating place that operates in the morning, while taking a left turn takes you to a stretch of road (Jalan Macalister) with lots of stalls selling various popular local delicacies. Just diagonally opposite is the old brand name, Ghee Hiang, which I personally feel that sells the best tau sar pneah (ground green bean biscuits).

One of the worst travel experience I ever had!

[Air-con]
Air-condition unit isn't cold enough to cater for the room environment, even though at full blast & temperature set to the lowest.
[Wi-Fi]
Hotel attendance can even give you the wrong passwords for my room & lobby.
Wi-Fi isn't strong & had never been at full-blast ever since I stayed there for 3 nights. Wi-Fi is very difficult to hook on, most of time hooked on but unable to surf internet.
[Over-all]
The lift, room corridor & room are very stuffy & warm (especially during noon time)

Comfort

Stayed there for 1 night with family (2 rooms).
I did not book as we arrived late (around midnight) in Penang.
The room was very spacious for the price. All working well (a/c, hot shower, tv and lightings). My daughter's room a/c was a bit noisy initially but quiet after a while.
We stayed on the 2nd floor and found it very quiet.
Wi fi was also very fast in the rooms.
Ample parking space in hotel compound.
Location a bit off from Georgetown city centre but if you are driving should not be much problem traveling from one spot to another from this hotel.
For the price, I may stay again in this hotel.

Room tip: Room on the higher floor away from the main road if you are a light sleeper

An old hotel in an out of date location but very clean, hotel staff eager to please, adequate restaurants nearby and in the lobby, near the center of the
city. No storage space in rooms except for one cabinet to put hanging clothes
in, no shelves or drawers for your clothes, three hangers (the manager gave me more hangers on request), no view, seemed to be a "Businessmans hotel for one night stays", rather than a hotel for vacationers.
