We had a very great stay in this hotel. The room and lobby was impressive with
a cleancut Penekan design. clean and spacious room, friendly staff, convenient location, all these gave us a pleasent stay. One minus point is that it is noisy sometjmes, given that the hotel is opposite an event threatre hall. We stayed 3 nights overall. On last night in the hotel, there was a wedding held in the event place opposite the hotel. From late evening all the way to midnight, the strong bass beats from disco muskc can be heard all the way in our room. Our room is facing the street... if you go out travel and only sleep later, this should not affect u. Or if u choose the inner rooms instead of the outside rooms facing the street, should not get affected much.
but all in all, this hotel is quite impressive. Would still come back. The breakfast is delicious as well btw.

Very Nice and helpfull staff. Rooms were clean and the shower was good. Don’t reserve breakfast within your booking! The only thing you will get is bread with jam or cereals. You have to buy all the other things. We wanted to cancel our breakfast for other days and get our money back but this was not possible because we booked our breakfast online…

The very positive experience was mainly due to the hotel staff from the front desk, facility care, kitchen and wait staff.
The hotel ambient provides us with nostalgic memory of our grandparent’s house which is long gone.
The room and bath are on the smaller side, however we had everything that we need during the 2-day stay in Georgetown.
Location was the reason we booked this hotel, and also the positive reviews.
Breakfast at the Areca Cafe was quite good. Especially the Nasi Lemak and Roti Chanai.

The hotel is situated near tourist attractions. It is housed in a row of restored shophouses which bring back the colonial past. The room we stayed in is spacious and airy. It is furnished with retro furnitures. This hotel not ony serve breakfast , afternoon tea is served every afternoon too. Fitri Osman cooked the best Chicken in kitchap and Chicken curry. The staff we met, Dura, Dennis, Fitri Osman, Fitri Rosly and Fazreen were friendly and made us very at home. Although the mosque is opposite the hotel, the room's sound proofing is good.
