Dissapointed that there were so many touristy shops taking up the space on this jetty. Not one if you are looking for the true Clan Jetty experience. Try The Tan Clan Jetty for s better experience.

Avoid - overcrowded jetty with local tourist shops selling Tat. Felt sorry for families who still live on jetty having tourists peering into their homes.

It was an interesting place where people actually lived there and set up stalls in front of their house selling souvenirs, snacks and clothes. The sea view at the end of the jetty is not that fantastic but I like the old village feels walking through the boards.

As we were in the area we dropped into the Chew Jetty to have a look. It was interesting enough but only really suitable for about a half hour or so. Most of it is set up to sell souvenirs.

As subjected, this is a live jetty area where people actually live and runs retail shops business within it. Rustic and filled with heritage flavor as you strolled along the wooden flanks towards the jetty end. Famous big bowl ramen noodles was served at one the restaurants inside, worth a try.
