You will not regret your stay here, I promise. One of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed at, with great attention to detail, personal touches, and added perks. Personal touches like having a "Bath Butler" service where they draw you a bath with your preferred scents and set up the room/bathroom and leave you treats to enjoy a perfect before bedtime bath, curated snacks and drinks that are complimentary, the way they take a delivery order - if you order food delivery - and prepare it nicely with plates, silverware, bowls, and then serve to your room - all of it makes for a comforting and indulgent stay.

The decor is classy, elegant, with gorgeous design elements (you'll die over the elevator and the bathroom, trust me). And you can't beat the location on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic district, Lebuh Armenian.

Bonus: amazing breakfast! One of best complimentary a la carte breakfasts we've had.

Choose them. You won't regret it!

We stayed in the Rodin suite, which is just perfect for a girls trip between best friends. Thoughtful entertainment system with Amazon Prime, Netflix and Spotify, Aesop amenities and a bath butler service makes it easier to spend the afternoon indoors while the sun glares. When you do decide to venture outdoors, everythings just a stone's throw away, from the murals to the cafes to the Chew Jetty - the address is perfect for explorers. The hotel manager would be happy to tell you where to have the best oyster omelette in Penang if you ask, but be sure to dine in the hotel's Copper restaurant at least once. At night, when the streets become quiet, a cocktail at Copper's bar (which is theTop 4 bar of the year in Penang, btw) is perfect.

I stayed at 88 Armenian during the Georgetown Literary Festival 2019. This hotel allowed me to work, entertain, and reflect on many things. Well worth the price - the staff felt like family! I've stayed in many hotels for work and pleasure - 6 star to airbnbs - but 88 tops them all.

Room tip: Ask the staff how to use the facilities in the room. I'm quite stupid with gadgets so I had quite a time figuring things out!

Amazing boutique hotel! Bed was super comfy. Aesop bath and body products. Beautiful modern deco, esp the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Kavia was super friendly and accommodating. Very thoughtful touches for the guests. One of the BEST boutique hotel I have stayed in.

Room tip: You can request to have your bath prepared with your choice of bath salts. Totally awesome.

We stayed one lovely night at this new boutique hotel at the suggestion of the General Manager as this is the sister hotel to Noordin Mews. This chic and urbane hotel in the midst of the historic quarter is a breath of fresh air. With a focus on modern amenities and a more exclusive and western bent, it is an ideal location to discover Georgetown. Even though busy during the day with tourist this lovely spot is quiet and romantic at night. Attention to detail including exclusive amenities, in room tablets, a Nespresso machine, excellent treats and a fantastic morning breakfast made our stay very comfortable. We did not try the bath menu and certainly will at our next visit. However, what sets this place apart is the restaurant on the main floor. It comes equipped with a full bar that includes innovative cocktails using local botanicals and inspired by local flavours it opens up a journey of new culinary exploration. Try the Galangal Gin from the Penangite Eiling Lim’s distillery who is known internationally for her exclusive whisky selections and private bottling. Also specific to this location is the chance to explore chocolates made exclusively for his hotel using cocoa grown in Pahang formed into treats inspired by Nyonya flavours such as Ondeh Ondeh, Pulut Hitam and soy sauce caramel. When it comes to cocktails and chocolate, I’m a bit of a snob with my high expectations but this hotel/bar blew my mind.
