Fabulous hotel in the heart of George Town. Superb 5 star rooms and friendly and attentive service (though they need to sort out their reception protocols).

Well positioned for exploring Little India.

The service is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is so generous in providing amenities of all kind (room amenities, welcome drinks, snacks and my favourite TWG tea!). Even my daughter asked to extend the stay here. We'll be back.

The Prestige Hotel Georgetown certainly lives up to its name!

This recently brand new hotel, opened in 2019, shows no sign of the effects of Covid as everything still looks sparkling & clean!

The bright and cheery ground floor consists of the hotel lobby, a handful of cafes and shops plus the hotel’s casual dining area reminiscent of a Victorian parlour with inside & outside dining options.

The corridors above are dark and moody with a carpet and lighting design that makes you feel like they go on forever.

The Deluxe Room is amazingly large with all you’d expect from a hotel of this calibre, a modern Tv, USB and international power sockets and a coffee machine. In the middle of the room lies a huge bed that appears to float above the floor. A curtain also pulls back to reveal a gold gilded cage shower and bathroom with amenities packaging of a wonderful design that cleverly replicates the exterior of the building.

There is a small gym filled with cardio equipment (no weights) and a fantastic roof top pool overlooking the bay. The rooftop bar is limited but the gazebo area pleasant to sit in drinking while the sun slowly sets.

The hotel is located close to the piers, major street art and the Pinang Peranakan Mansion.

This hotel is Georgetown at its best!
