Amazing property in George town it’s beautiful heritage property, nice breakfast,I will highly recommend this property it is close to many tourist locations and restaurants.

Hotel with no frills. Great location. Room quite spacious. Extra bonus for the jacuzzi in the bathroom. Breakfast has not much variety but was tasty. Only thing is carpet and cushions on the sofa might be a bit dusty. I was sneezing often as I was sensitive with dust. Not much can be said of the TV as it used some kind of antenna so program on TV always hanged. other than that, stay was quite enjoyable. Near to many heritage sites and all was within walking distance and we don't spend much time in the room anyway.
Wow what a dump. Converted shop houses and some old furniture doesn't a boutique heritage hotel make. It's the service staff cleanliness and willing to assist. The tired Terrace rooms with poor ac, non flushing toilets, broken tiles mould and just a tired feel are not pleasant ir inviting. The in-house tea and coffee sachets of basic quality at the best include sugar and ni creamer...the front office team told me at this boutique property they don't provide!! Breakfast looked at best something from a 2 star hotel, cold food, limited choice and dont ask for eggs as you'll be turned down and pointed to the cold rubbery fried eggs probably made at the start of service! Room service did not exist as I did not put the sign in the door...for which I wasn't informed and there was none in the room anyway. Do yourself a favour and choose elsewhere
Staying at the Heritage Hotel in George Town is a wonderful experience. I really liked this heritage hotel. The room is very comfortable and elegantly decorated. The best part is the bathroom, which has a jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking. The location is excellent, within walking distance to all the places you want to visit.
very disappointed; had high expectation for a good looking heritage hotel. The location is great BUT----1) water supply host for wash basin broke in the middle of the night--hotel would not switch room; 2) then the hall lights were broken (total darkness) for 2 nights;3) this morning there is no hot water; front desk could care less---no management can be reached. Restaurant is fine...it is poor compared with other heritage hotel I have stayed here in Penang...thought may be an hr late check out is a reasonable "compensation" for all the trouble--but the answer was a resounding NO...pretty rude.
