First, the positives - lovely, spacious balcony overlooking the marina. The apartment is very nice with all needed amenities except a hair dryer. The kitchen is complete with microwave, stove top and a built in oven. There is also a washer-dryer machine in the kitchen. Yes, cutlery, mugs, glasses and some pots are even available.
TV and wifi works well (except the tv in the bathroom). The bedrooms are nice with comfy beds. One can walk around the marina and the boardwalk to enjoy the sea view. The pool looks all right.
The negatives - we had a lot of problems with the elevator access key as 50% of the time it did not work. There is also no office to seek help or get/return key as one has to call the contact person. No Qibla indicator in the apartment. If you enjoy watching the sunrise and sunsets, this is not the place as neither was seen when we were there. There is also no sea breeze except early in the morning. The rest of the time - hot and humid. There are some restaurants but most sell alcohol and are not Muslim friendly (except for Pappa Rich).
Overall- very upscale 'Mat Salleh' vibe about the place. Not for Muslim families.

I took the opportunity to stay at this self serviced apartment suites whilst I was visiting Penang . Booked the accomodation thru Agaoda.com The booking was done online n was fine ! The checking in process was tedious! One had no international data so it was hard to find out where I can obtain the keys to the apartment Thank goodness I have relatives that I could ring Agoda to get instructions n contact the person responsible to Hand over the keys! Suggestion made that the Suites should have a front desk manned from 2 pm to 5 pm for prospective clients to check in! The Suite itself is adequate but it needs mcrowave instead of a oven! The towels are a threadbare , need to have new ones! The Tv channels need to be cable! Had so much difficulty to have it rectified n still breaks down every 10 mins !!!!! N the internet was not turned on until I made several phone calls ! Location is excellent for tourists wanting a quiet , restful place to stay as they do have a good supermarket downstairs - Sam’s Gtocery ! I would recommend this place to stay but please improve on your checking in process , tv connections n internet availability

Area great with marina, restaurants and shopping great and anything else just a taxi/Grab ride away. However we were bitterly disappointed with our unit and the owners must be responsible for proving no repairs or maintenance over time. It is level 5 unit 2 so don’t stay there unless your happy with 2/3 star accomodation. Unit although supposed to be self contained had no glasses so after requesting and getting large tumblers bought our own wine glasses. No toaster so got old fry pan and managed to do eggs and toast in that. Linen and towels will not cope with one more wash, plug doesn’t come out of bath, no electricity outlets in bathroom, other electric points and lights don’t work, the TV in the bathroom doesn’t work but looks good, furniture weird and uncomfortable. It wouldn’t cost much to have a proper inventory done and repairs in keeping with the overall area.

Self-explanatory. It is located on top of Penang's first seafront shopping mall, Straits Quay Marina Mall. This place has the magical healing power that calm all stressed nerves down. Every morning and evening we can see people jogging or cycling around it while children playing and people come here to drink.

Looking out of the window is just awesome, we get to see the yacht rows in the bay and some other cruises or ship that is at nearby water. This is the perfect place to stay if you need a break from the busyness of the city.

Getting food is just easy, there are few different eateries downstairs. Snacks or groceries is also easy to get as there is one grocery store too. There is quite a few of pubs to drink at night too. Compare price first before enter.

The room might be a bit smaller than expected, but that doesn't make it any less attractive, it is still a very relaxing stay. Will definitely comeback in the near future.
