Pathetic and Sub-Standard Hotel

Pathetic Hotel. Never Book your stay with this hotel. They spoil your mood like anything.

It was our Anniversary Trip. The Hotel informed us through Email at least 15 days back (on 06/03/2023) that they will provide a King Size Bed and also arrange a Complimentary Anniversary Surprise on our Arrival.

Neither they provided King Size Bed nor any Anniversary Surprise.

We have been provided two single beds.
There is also no welcome drinks.

We are absolutely depressed with the way this hotel treated us.

In short, will never return to this hotel ever again.
Advice everyone (especially Indians) to refrain booking in this hotel. They are more interested in pleasing western tourists.

This does not seem more than a 3 star hotel.

Room tip: Never Book your Stay with Jen Penang Georgetown. You will Regret big time.

A wonderful birthday stay, thanks to Jen!

I decided to go to Jen to celebrate my birthday ... On checking in, Front Office Manager Mr Calvin Ooi saw that it was my birthday and gave me 2 very unexpected birthday presents - a free breakfast and Club Lounge access! It was very kind of him and my heartfelt thanks to him! Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful ... and I also got a birthday cake ... thanks to Jen for a very memorable birthday trip.

Good Hotel in Penang

Location if good, close to many food and other interesting places - can walk around area. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Good lobby for meetings. Our rooms has a nice view. Love the provided slippers! :-)

Room tip: good option for a hotel stay in Penang. I'd return and book this hotel longer.

Good short stay choice

Nice comfortable hotel in Georgetown with convenient shopping centres nearby. The staff were friendly and accommodating - allowed us early check-in and the room had all basic amenities. The rooms a quite small but okay for a short stay..

Great experience without regrets!

Excellent stay at Jen Penang! Centrally located in Georgetown, walking distance to a lot of nice eateries and cafes! Room is clean and well maintained. Nice view of the surrounding including a glimpse of the sea further out. Concierge is friendly and helpful! Breakfast starts on time from 6:30am and good selection of international and local cuisine.

Room tip: Be prepared that early check in option not available as this hotel is quite packed most of the time
