A lovely place with lots of character! We found it clean, very comfortable (especially the bed) and the room had little extras that you don’t always find at this price level e.g face cloths, coffee machine, a book on Penang, and even handle bars in bathroom for toilet and shower. Reception had laptops/chargers at front desk to use and they ran a 24h bar. Breakfast was a good variety and welcome drink & cake was a nice surprize. Will def visit again!More

Impressive hospitality from the staff, from the check-in to dining. Ever ready to provide us how-to-go-there suggestion/advice when we check with them our sightseeing plans. The event we were here for was cancelled last minute, but Edric the front desk staff, tooknthe initiative to help us further check and got back to us. Our room was made up very neatly and clean every time we returned from our outings. We had room E on ground floor roomm. Good if you like to step out to the swimming pool which closes at 10pm, good noise reduction measure.
Room is spacious, with artful display of wall photos of yesteryears photos. Maybe some of us feel uneasy of the b&w portraits. Spacious bathroom, heated water may take a while to start. Do note certain bathroom amenities are not included - eg toothbrush, but can be purchased. Comfortable bed and day bed. Sufficient spaces for stowing. Door lock is traditional with key and padlock, so we usually leave our key at the reception when we go out.
Breakfast was a hearty spread of order to make, featuring toast,pancake, french toast. The cafe serves coffee/tea between 3pm to 5pm and a nice slice of cake.
No room refrigerator, turns out we buy less perishables. Help yourself to the complimentary oranges outside and chill them in the common fridge.
Location: it's just a 5mins walk to shopping mall, 1st Avenue. Komtar is next door, and a bit more it's the tourists area. If we are walking back, we often sight for the Komtar tower as a guide.
Overall- Cosy accomodation, with a convenient location and warm service.
Will love to stay there again next time.
Suggestion to hotel.
1. Library has an interesting collection. Would be more inviting if the books get a wipe down as they seems to have collected dust over time.

The staff was very helpful at Noordin Mews. They suggested places to go, arranged transportation, and were very attentive. Although the bed was a little hard for us, we would stay there again. It is a beautiful small hotel.

As soon as we walked into the Noordin Mews we were greeted by smiling faces. The staff are outstanding - friendly, polite, going the extra mile. You're left a little gift on your bed every night, and a scented candle is lit in the bathroom.
Edric on reception is marvellous! He told us about all the best places to visit, and about the free bus service.
Breakfast is delicious, particularly the French toast. The complimentary tea/cake between 3-5pm is very welcome.
The hotel has a delightful lounge area, and the pool/restaurant is very pleasant.

An oasis inside the old center of Georgetown. Very amazing place with a fantastic staff. A good breakfast and a nice traditional tea time. The both suites are lovely, A real fascinating corner!!!
