Description: Kebaya is the diningroom of the Seven Terraces and is open to hotel guests and the public.Open daily, 7pm till 10pm.Christopher Ong has worked with the hotel’s chefs to create a menu of classic Indo and Straits Chinese Nyonya dishes. They have refined these using French cooking techniques and innovative produce to deliver surprising new twists on this already fascinating cuisine.The effect is simple, delicious full of flavour and dazzling.A four course degustation menu of entrée, main course, vegetables and dessert is served in Chinese style to allow guests to share the dishes. The Baba Bar is open daily from 2pm onwards, with live piano music in a very intimate setting.

Ambience & Restoration perfect. We selected all the 'protein' main course selections but they turned out to be disappointing. Portions are generous but taste bad.
The desserts took 30min to serve despite only 3 tables of diners. After the long while, the pandan creme brulee tasted sourish and was soggy.
While waiting for the dessert, a rat ran out from the kitchen to the dining area. When it was 1st spotted, the staff was alerted but nothing was done until it ran into the dining area and guests were startled as it ran over a diner's shoes.
Quite a traumatic sight.

Thank you for coming to dine at Kebaya Dining Room and appreciating the restoration of the building. However,we are disappointed to read that we our food delivered was below your expectations.

Over the past six years, the Executive Chef and his team have developed the master recipe, carefully balancing the spices and seasonings to maintain the essence of Penang Peranakan cuisine. The team have incorporated French kitchen techniques to elevate the dishes to a new level. The owner and his fellow directors will dine at least once a week at Kebaya Dining Room to ensure all aspects of our standards are maintained.

If the issues were raised on the night, we could have made it right for you, as we could have replaced the dishes. However during our quality checks, your party were happy with your dinner. Your feedback is appreciated but it is rather difficult for us to correct our standard master recipes from an isolated case.

At Kebaya Dining Room, we follow a strict guideline on Food Hygiene, Health and Safety. It is of paramount importance to us and we have regular audits in order to maintain the highest standard of practice. Unfortunately, on that particular evening a shrew (a blind mole like mammal), not a rat, came into the building late at night. With the heavy rain recently, their natural habitat may have been disturbed and found a way in. We sincerely apologies for the incident and any discomfort it may have caused.

What can I say ! What else I shall say!!

The starter already melted me! Indeed I keep telling myself to be sober as the best is coming to me!

Definitely the best meal I ever have !

Love the ambience! Love the food ! Why? Cos is come with the warm heart!

Pandan creme brûlée says it all. Who could imagine such a combination? But it was divine. The 4 course degustation allowed each of us an appetiser, main, vegetable dish and dessert. The chefs have taken traditional favourites, like otak otak and given them a modern twist which changes street food dishes to high end fine dining. The duck in plum and orange and the chicken curry were also sensational. But if coming here for dinner, eat a sparing lunch and no high tea. The proportion size borders on gargantuan. A real indulgence.

I have a lunch there, tasty food with heritage setting! It's Indo-Chinese food. The dessert is very tasty which cannot miss!

Last minute reservation and not disappointed. Wonderful 4 course meal. Amazing service and staff and gorgeous interior. And so well priced. All in all and great evening in Georgetown. Will definitely be back!!
