We went there as a group of 4 during our trip in Penang. The service, environment and atmosphere are brilliant! The waiters are very accommodating and take initiatives to provide recommendation. A perfect place for celebration with live music and great vibes - there's another group celebrating birthday and there are a little surprise by the restaurant.
We love every dish from appetizer to dessert - not too much surprise for us as Nyonya cuisine is very much like Chinese cuisine, but food is in high quality so it's a pleasant experience. Price is relatively high in Penang where you easily grab a dinner for just USD2-3, but definitely worth to try to search for somewhere in time.

My husband and I have just enjoyed the most beautiful meal at Kebaya. Right from the outset we were made to feel so welcome & the location itself is like a film set from the 1920’s. The restaurant is part of the Seven Terraces Boutique Hotel. The food is nyonya fusión & the flavours are so adeptly combined, that you savour every mouthful.
The wine list & drinks menu is extensive, and the staff are utterly charming. When we left this evening we noticed an elderly man playing what the lovely front of house staff member told us was the guzheng. It was quite mesmeric, you felt as if you had gone back in time. It really was a fitting end to a perfect evening.
Highly recomended, don’t miss out on a special experience.

Beautifully restored set of shop houses. Even the plates are stunning. Meal was excellent and would highly recommend the lamb. Everything was done extremely well

As our trip to Penang is coming to an end, we went there last night for dinner. Everything about this restaurant is top class, including the decor; service; menu; and of course the food.
The meal was simply superb.
